+meddeb khalil esau is the end of world and jacob is the beginning of the next. Ishmael is used as a sword... for the real israelites, until the israelites learn to repent and follow the statutes, commandments and the laws. there is never ANY mentioning about Ishmael ruling the world...and the Quran, tells you to go back to the bible, because the bible of the israelites give prophecies, no one else... So there is no insult... it is direct from the book itself. Please tell me where God, made a covenant with Ishmael that the world will be his?allow me...Genesis 17:19-2119 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
+meddeb khalil lol, the jews u speak of, are not the jews... ishmael is the Lords sword, while the real jews regain their knowledge of self and learn to walk righteously, then the new kingdom will come when the 144k are etablished of the REAL ISRAEL . Look at Deut 28:15-68, we know who the real Israelites are!

The Story of Isaac and Rebecca
Isaac is a biblical patriarch and a Holy Forefather who's honored by Jews, Christians and Moslems. He is the son of Abraham and Sarah and the younger ...
Thank you for this insightful overview and collection of images of Isaac
and Rebekah's complex and real lives. I am LDS and studied in Jerusalem,
minoring in Near Eastern Studies at BYU. I am attempting to share the
people and places of the Bible with my young family (four children ages
2-10) in preparation for a trip to the Holy Land in January. I love the
history and significance of the Bible's peoples! Thank you again!!!
I like the clip there's are some lies please read The Word of God. it
actually says God reveal himself to the pharaoh through dream said to him
Isaac is Rebecca wife , God seriously judge those take out his word
REVELATIO 22:18 do it right. your salvation is more important.
he is great jesus loves us he tested Abraham because he needed to see if he will do It God rewarded him greatly with his boussum say this if you want to be in the best place in the universe heaven when you die. say jesus christ forgive me of all sin I believe your the payment for my sins. I now believe you are the son of God jehova and you died on the cross and God raised you again from the dead. I accept you into my heart as lord and savior amen. jesus loves you if you have any doubt you will see when you die God bless you goodbye I'll see you in heaven
This was a test from God to see if Abraham had faith. It also shows a basis of how God would sacrifice his only begotten son (Jesus) Christ for our sins.
OH, and let's be realistic here. In real life, how is Isaac going to feel
toward his daddy knowing he was millimeters away from murdering him? In
real life, Isaac would now know his father is a sociopath, and would try
and find some way to flee and get free of him. Or at a minimum would now
realize his father is a VERY evil man, and would shrink from him, not cry
sympathetic tears against his father's chest. You can even see the child
actor playing Isaac not buying it when he's called upon to hug the sick
bastard as part of his act. Watch his face. He's thinking "yeah, like I'd
really do this if this were real life....NOT".
+Ki Avalon God has never asked anyone to murder children in the entire Bible, except for the sacrifice. Sacrificing children was common in other religions. If he actually did murder Isaac, how would the covenant of Abraham having many descendants be fulfilled?
I think he did kill Issac and the bibles authors covered it up. If you read the story, you will notice that Abe came back alone. Also sacrificing the eldest child was common practice at the time. If the family had enough money, they could redeem the child with the blood of a lamb, ie., buy a lamb an sacrifice it instead.

David Pawson: Genesis: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Unlocking the Bible Series)
In Unlocking the Bible, Pawson presents a book by book study of the whole Bible . The book is based on Pawson's belief that the Bible should be studied, as it ...
1. Hell is meant to be brought up in a context that one has already
(implicitly) accepted the faith, since you have to believe in order to
consider it possible. 2. it seems to me that you have set some criteria of
reason that are also based upon some kind of belief system, so I can't
answer you before you tell me: what do you believe in, why is it better
than Christianity? 3. The lack of consensus doesn't necessarily imply the
system is false, so you've already made a choice before judging that.
Well, you've got to look at the whole picture. God doesn't shun reason &
altruism. "Love your neighbours", which happen to be the second greatest
commandment of Jesus, is altruism. Pawson was talking about salvation here,
in which case good works don't help at all. But if you believe in God and
then do nothing good, you lose your salvation. It's a matter of priority,
not either or. At most you can say this "rather than" proposition is
oversimplifying, but it's basically correct.
Was there not a disagreement between James and Paul about whether faith
alone could lead to salvation? I can't believe in god - at least not the
Abrahamic one. There is too much disagreement among believers to be able to
work out who (if anyone) has the right interpretation. It seems highly
suspicious to me that this religion requires me to believe what I don't
understand, and threatens me with hell fire for being honest enough to
admit that I don't.
The creator of the universe would have the transcendent authority to define
what is righteous and what is not. Your personal subjective preferences of
what is fair and just are irrelevant, unless you think yourself of equal
value, wisdom and knowledge with God. It is your self-pride and rebellious
heart that is keeping you from kneeling to the authority to God. Reason and
logic would tell us to trust in the creator's wisdom and know our place.
Surely altruistic behavior would be rewarded by the creator of the universe
- if there is such a thing...? Also, I don't understand how not being
perfect is a crime worthy of never ending torture. Why is BELIEF so
important to him? I don't get it. My reason doesn't allow me to understand
this Christian doctrine!
I consider James' teaching to complement Paul's. Bible clearly teaches that
a believer can lose salvation after believing in God. James was making a
distinction between a genuine belief that keeps one on the road to
salvation and a flawed one that can possibly lead one to hell.
Thanks. Since I wrote that comment I've read the entire protestant bible 3
times. I didn't find a satisfactory answer to my question. It seems most
likely that the bible stories are heavily embellished and in some cases
fabricated.
20:37 "God would rather have a believing man than a good man." This is one
of the biggest stumbling blocks for me. Why is reason and altruism shunned
by the alleged creator of the universe?
Because human altruism and reason are far from perfect, thus unworthy in
the eyes of the perfect God. However, a believing man can be saved and
sanctified into a holy and perfect human.
It is shocking that 21st century western humans still believe myths from
bronze age middle eastern illiterate peasants. Learn how to think, always
ask questions.
Wonderful message and may God continue to bless those who hear your
teaching,
