Hey James! I would love to know where you found the site of his cabin......
We searched the area quite a bit as I live right at the top of Leydecker
rd. creek side. You can see the deck i built in your video at 4:08 on the
banks of the gorge. We tried to buy the house that was located on the
curve, to no avail. Apparently the army corps of engineers stepped in and
bought the property for $1.00 and tore the house down :-(

Did you happen to come across the old abandoned playground at the top of
the the former Old Shep road? It's tucked into the woods behind the state
school. Made for some really kool pictures in black and white. We do alot

@jayburney what's really awesome, which i dont show in the slides is that
we FOUND the site of his deadly cabin fire and have his burnt lantern to
p[rove it. i got to show you it.

We searched around this area alot too Ron...... Pretty kool history. We
live less than 1/2 mile from it. You can actually see the deck I built in
the video @ 4:08, lol.
