You have an opposition in Syria, big enough to create a mess to the Syrian government. This opposition is the kurdish militia/army (however you wanna call it). Plus you have the druze at the south. Those are the real opposition of the Syrian government however a part of them fights against the government and a part of them fights with the government. The US is trying to ally with the opposition (kurds plus druze) so that the Syrian army and their allies will face a bigger problem. The Russians are aware of this and thats why they proposed this. Dont believe me that the US is allying with the kurds? They are sending 50 'advisors' to the kurds in Syria and they gave a few weeks ago 50 tons of weapons and ammunitions to them. This is what it is all about. The kurds are an important factor in this war.

Russia bombs 8 to 100 times a day on al qaida in idleb. After idleb they will come to ISIS. The Syrian army wont fight on two fronts which is just dumb. First they will finish Idleb. And though the russians are not particular bombing ISIS they are bombing al qaida which is just (almost) the same shit but a different name. A terrorist is a terrorist and need it needs to be dead. +Ansar al-salami lol I never said that there will be elections next year. Assad is now gaining ground, he will not lose ground anymore thanks to the russian airstrikes. The terrorists are now in totall defence and the Syrian army is in totall attack. This month they gained 200 plus square km and they are still pushing and pushing. You can call the Russian less effective than people thaught but it certainly is not ineffective. Today the russians have started using bombs special for destroying fortified areas. Assad will in no way ever be trapped. Russia and China and Iran will never allow it.

Abu Batata : there will be no elections next year.  Syria will most likely be partitioned.  The Kurds will get the north.  No one will unseat them there in their heartland.  Assad will most likely be overthrown by advancing forces as the Russian defense turns out to be less intimidating than once thought.  The rebels in Idlib will continue southward into Latakia and eventually take large portions of Assad's Alawite homeland.  He'll retreat south, to Damascus where the al-Nusra front will attack him on his flank.  He's hemmed in.  Like I said, its over for Assad.  Its just a matter of time now.PS - as most of the ISIS fighters now flooding into central Syria are from Russia (Chechnya, Ingushetia, Dagestan, etc.), Putin will be facing a nightmare once he withdraws from Syria.  The ISIS fighters will return home and begin assaults on the Russian Caucasus.  Overall, it will be seen in future years as an extremely bad gamble for Putin to have put troops and equipment into Syria.  It will be his undoing.
