Watch it again. Watch the shadow of the back of the unmarked police car. Watch the positions of the other cars. She wasn't moving at all jackass, this cop purposefully hit her.

It must be pretty demoralizing to the honest hard-working LA County Sheriff deputies who do their jobs, and take their risks, day in and day out. I'll bet there are some deputies who saw this coming and are shaking their heads and thinking; "I knew something was going to hit the fan sooner or later". But, this also brings to light another problem in the ranks; the hiring, promotional and assignment process. How do these characters ever become deputies if the process that is supposed to weed them out is so flawed and obviously not working? Perhaps the LA Times could enlighten us with more details on the hiring, promotional and assignment process of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. How blatant did their behavior have to get before ANYONE was going say anything? The only surprise to me is how long. Now WE all know, what Punishment will be dolled out a slap on the wrist ???

There's a flaw with your hypothesis. What about checkpoints? You don't have to break the law to be stopped and deal with police then. And what country do we live in when people like you don't see the problem with the phrase "deal with police" like you already know most of them are not good people? And to sum it up, I was complaining about a cop who disrespected and violated my father's rights while he was sitting on the sofa minding his own business. My father had broken no laws yet he had to deal with his cop at his own front door for nothing. And the cop wasn't even in his jurisdiction. And for full disclosure he was there to deliver me a notice of continuance that he filed not even 24 hours before the court date that he had been scheduled for at least a month. And the court date was for a speeding ticket that I was fighting because I was not speeding and had not broken the law. I won't judge you for deleting your comment.
