+extragirth64 No, she's teaching him magic and sorcery. I'm fine with the Ancient One being Tilda Swinton, because she is awesome and can nail any character. Ancient Eastern arts, like Ancient Western arts, aren't restricted.

+matic brzin The comics came first. Then the multiple failed attempts at an adaptation. The motion comics came out in 2008. The movie came out in 2009. The motion comic and the movie were made at the same time but it took longer for the movie to come out due to the editing process
