i don't think people are REALLY upset about it, but it's pretty terrible that a magazine would publish something like that. fat people are people just like skinny people are. i don't mind being called fat - i AM fat. but i don't go around saying that i find skinny people or those with eating disorders (whether they're anorexic, bulimic, or bingers) disgusting. nor do i patronize them with statements like "JUST EAT! YOU CAN DO IT!" like maura kelly did.
