To start, do an overall inspection, and write everything down. Then arrange it in order of importance. Thats at least a step in the right direction, to start. Horse power on a 5.0, I'm not sure what they came with, I think it was in the 235-245ish area. Only 1555 were made, they all came in white (except for the first 5 pre-production), and beach wood brown interior. They all came with the 3.8L Turbo engine, the 2004R 4-speed automatic, Borg-Warner 9 bolt rear diff's, and the 1LE brake package.

The muffler is approx: 17"L x 11"W. I'm sure its similar in size to a Flowmaster. The only issue is, the muffler is not available by its self from Corsa (I tried), its only part of their cat back system, witch is very-very expensive. I got lucky and bought this muffler used (but in like new condition) from a guy parting out his car. Check Ebay & Craigslist, they do pop up once in a while. My car number is #591

I agree. 16.5 psi for the 89 TTA. Looked closer to 19+. I can here it retarding the timing to keep the detonation away. I couldn't go past 17 psi without getting 100 octane CAM2 unleaded in my 87 GN.

The tips are from Stainless Works.com. They are "Y" Tips and you can choose your size, very high quality stuff. A Corsa muffler was used, and the rest of the system was custom 3" from a local shop.

I went for a ride in one of these and it could pull on vipers and vettes all day long. God that car was wicked fast! id say its the 2nd fastest car i've been in besides the lamborghini diablo.

Boost seems high. 17psi was stock. Get a scanmaster if you don't have one and keep an eye on knock. Today's gas is hard on these motors without a modern chip/tune.
