How would you make a 5"x7" size card? If you pieced the cardstock to get a
14" length, where would you piece it so it doesn't show? Love the
tutorial, TFS!
+thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich Thanks, Lindsay, for your reply. After I posted my comment, I went to my craft desk and figured it out. it's quite simple, really. to get a 5x7 card, you'd need to cut the base cardstock 5x14, right? Since a standard sheet is 8 1/2 x 11, I just cut the width of 5 inches off the long side of the 8 1/2x11 sheet, leaving a piece 5x11. then I scored it at 7", which left 4". One half of 7" is 3 1/2", so I scored it there (which would be 10 1/2"), leaving a half inch tab which I folded down and then glued to my front piece of 5x7. It's basically the same thing, except that instead of having a large piece of cardstock on which to glue the front, you'll only have the 1/2" piece. Still works though. Thanks again for your video, I enjoyed it.
+deskjockie49 I would try and add pieces of card under layering papers.
