Platypus? Minor niggle......as an Aussie I feel a little proprietary about
our names being used on American owned and made knives.......
Would some(Not all, of course- most folks don't care either way) Americans
get a little riled if Aussie knife makers made a knife called the Bald
Eagle, or some similar American icon?
Hey skall, I was wondering can you get these knives in the UK? Interested
in trying my hand at wood whittling. The rules in this country with knives
is such bullshit im not sure if they would deliver.
If you want an indepth reason why I hate rings, google image: "degloving
ring"
Not fond of that knife shape, way too expensive for a potato peeler.
Cutting a seatbelt is hard and you need better tools for it, its one of the
few places that serrations on a knife are really kinda needed.
That was a great review! First: blue threadlocker. On all screws, unless it
will interfere with operation. Second: That sharpener. I want one! I am an
old Boy Scout, and I just have too many knives and not enough time for the
whetstone nowadays. What is that gizmo, please save me a search!
i've got a question. should you look for the same types of steel in knives
as you do swords? in other words is the way they're used make some types of
steel more ideal for one or the other?
+joetonyf Short knife blades can get away with very hard (and thereby somewhat brittle) steels, like 440C stainless for instance. Swords need more flexibility and are normally made of carbon steel like 1055, 1095 or 5160.
Sisterlock tutorial: Wash day update 1yr old/Pros and cons
Hey y'all. Update on my wash day routine. Showing how I was my hair as well as talk about my pros and cons on sisterlocks. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
Thank you for doing this video because people really need to hear this.
I've been a loose natural for 14 yrs and will be taking the SL plunge
sometime within the new year. I sort of dismissed SL in the beginning,
prior to do research because I'm a DIY'er and don't believe in being a
slave to anyone and I looked at SL as having to be a slave. Another reason
is because I didn't know there were different rotations (such as 4 pt or 3
pt) which give a different look. Since I've learned that you can do it
yourself AND that you can obtain different types of locks, I'm all in now &
can't wait to start the journey.
+Hesed.Zaon Make sure you talk to multiple consultants and find the best fit for you. I am excited for you. Please give me update
Pros and Cons of Long Hair
I hope you guys enjoyed the video! As you can tell, there are many more cons than pros. I love having long hair and I love the way it looks, but it is such a hassle.
As far as trap guns go, I have probably way to many ranging from kreighoff
kx5s and 6 peraz tm1 and tmx as well as a 3200 and some BTs but the one gun
that I really use the most is a Remington 870 with a Jack West pro combo
stock, timney all steel trigger assembly, 30" step rib over bored barrel
with an 870 CT trap forend, and it's flat bad, I have who the MT butte
super handicap 3 years in a row with this set up, couldn't be more
happier...
Where are the finest shotguns manufactured? America, Belgium, England,
Italy, Germany, Finland? Also, I would like to purchase a nice over and
under between 2K and 3K, what do you recommend? I want it for trap/field.
Barretta keeps coming up as a top choice, as does Browning. What do you
know about Winchester? Lot of questions.... Thanks for your help.
No problem. It is all personal preference on which type of gun you choose
but I like the Kolar because to me it is a light gun and it meets all of my
criteria that I want in a fine shotgun. If you have any more questions,
feel free to ask and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
A modle 12 win, rem 1100 or a Bt 99 is all anyone needs. Maybe throw in a
kick ez butt stock. cut cheek pad and if you wanna get crazy a release
trigger. And you gotta great trap gun for under 2 grand. 10 thousand for a
gun is just crazy.
Perazzi MX2005 Over and Under. Single barrels are retarded. Just keep it
simple with the over and under. I ahot an over and under for 10 years in
ATA and 5 years in Olympic Double Trap and it has made me very successful.
Krieghoffs are.... "light weight".... with.... "few moving parts" ? None of
these guns will "rust" when exposed to rain ? Don't quit your day job
kid................................
what qualifies you to give information out on these guns. No offense but i
don't know if you ever shot a gun in your life or you just like reading
reviews and catalogs.
I shoot a Blaser F3 Burmese or Baronese or whatever it is. And i have to
say, my old SKB 85 TTR Combo was the best gun ive still ever seen, shooting
wise.
DrumWorkout.com Blog: Foot technique w/ Bill Bachman
Yes, we're all about the hands at www.drumworkout.com, but just for kicks here's another little bit about foot pedal technique. Here I'll review the three most ...
Hey Bill, fantastic lesson's man, I love your teaching style. However, my
biggest question to you is, "Why the Hi-Hats in the middle of the set up?,
instead of, off to the left (Right handed drummer) or right (Left handed
drummer), and/or one on the left and one on the right, like most are doing
these days. I am very curious by nature, however, if it's because of making
things easier in any way, then I'd love to experiment myself. But I don't
change 'my' set up unless it's absolutely necessary in order to make my
drumming easier. You see, I'm getting up there in years and so if putting
the hats in the middle makes things easier on the body, then (1) I want to
hear about it, and (2) I will likely want to change if it does??? Thanks
Bill for all that you do for the drumming community out here in web land.
We appreciate and respect what and how you do what you do for us. God Bless
man, take care and thanks. :)
+Kyle Matthews Thanks Kyle, that's a good answer, but I was hoping Bill would answer himself and go into more detail for me, but you answer is definitely a logical one. Take care and God Bless.
