I think if anyone actually has plans on buying this notebook, be sure to do
your research on the exact model number since model number problems vary
from the simplest change. I am going on a year with this notebook and right
now, I am waiting for it to get fixed since its overheating. If you do talk
to a case manager, they will tell you that the processors can handle about
160C and they believe its perfectly alright. Right now , mines running at
75C and its lagging.
What the hell problem didn't I have with it? MAINLY overheating, battery
not charging, Vista's stupidity, the touch bar buttons going crazy with the
clicking not stopping for at least 5 seconds, the major scratches on the
screen and apparently were supposed to use the cloth that its covered with
when we first receive it in between the screen and keyboard, the mouse pad
dying, receiving it back from HP with missing screws and major dents. The
list goes on and on.
mine got the same problem I think it comes from the screen that closed,
gets in contact with the led buttons wich have acid on them because of
grease from fingers, it attacks the plastic
