I like this vid, and like what you guys are doing, This day and age our
politicians listen only to money and big busniness (nothing new). People
today only care about their iphones, so called reality t.v., a lot of
people don't like the way our goverment is being run but they don't care
enoungh to do anything about it. Unless we get millions upon millions of
people in the streets nothing will change, and I don't see that happening,
we as a nation are too divided. Maybe i'm being a debbie downer
don't fight their wars of greed, nor pay their taxation freely ,.. make
them take it from you if need be, do not take part of rigged false
elections with no choice. do not watch the propaganda machine that is main
stream news channels,.. prepare yourself for such things as 30 days without
going to work in case of a national peoples strike,.. for if the profit
stops flowing to the OWNERS of the people they start listening,.. learn
from Gandhi how to win your own freedom for your self and others
I wish Lee Camp could see that many people stop listening to the content of
his words because of the nastiness of his delivery. A well-delivered insult
can be funny, but not when it's relentlessly angry. (okay, Lewis Black can
pull it off) Maybe it's more accurate to say they get knocked-off Lee's
message, I want to listen but I can only take it for a few minutes, and
that's a shame. Same thing when I listen to Joel Northam. Lighten up once
in a while, guys. We're in a long fight.
Not sure what generation you hail from- but maybe since I am cusp of the
boomer and gen x, I notice the endless rage and cursing even though I am
not bothered by it. I do think it is more mainstream for younger people as
it plays a larger role in the syntax. As for Lewis Black? You are spot on,
and few do rage as well. He is from my part of the country, and I can
attest to how he developed that trait/schtick- live within 100 miles of DC
and you too will become a misanthrope.
I know what they are trying to do. But when one entertains their core
audience more than the sheeple , it gets lost in the circus. This looks
more like a circus to the random smart phone obsessed, molly popping, mp3
listening, fast food eating sheeple walking by. We need to reach them the
most! Because they are the ones ignorantly giving away their money to the
people who are destroying our country. Our World. See I told you I had
allot to say. (;
p.s. historically the problems with a general strike have been they are
centrally organized b a trade union most often ,.. and then the head of the
union is either bought off or arrested.. a decentralized general strike
where there is NO picket line , but workers simply not going to their jobs
is not subject to the same pressures as picketing union strikers,.. ie
being forced by authority figures to stop or disperse,.
no i'm sorry but it has NOT been done before in America.. the 60's had
protests ,.. but they do not matter,..words mean nothing to those who OWN
you,.. what I Am talking about it is a mass movement of workers from ALL
different kinds of jobs striking like Gandhi organized ,.. THAT has never
happened in America ,.. the day everything stops moving and the cash stops
flowing is the day they are forced to listen .
in the decentralized general strike ,.what can those in power do? chain you
to your work station ? all that would do is expose the slavery of the
population for the benefit of a very few who produce nothing themselves but
consume almost all resources for what it truly is . if you do no understand
slavery never was stopped but merely evolved to a state of not needing
chains by now you haven't paid attention.
I don't disagree with what you say, but, thats been done before, still
hasn't changed anything. You think that a new idea? We did that in the 60's
and 70's, sure, we won a few battle, but the world is still what it is
today. I'm not naive, I know how this goverment is, its goning to take more
than that. What you're saying I heard back then, nothing new.
the wild thing about TPP is the absolute necessity for corporate
coalition... most of these companies will be destroyed by TPP as well..
They will get the scraps off the table of the big 600 that are involved...
but in the end lose completely. So perhaps most of these companies can join
the bandwagon - at least those the people appreciate
This demonstration was good, but it wont change anything. Peaceful protests
are not enough. The only way things in America will change is if all the
states and the peoples within come together and elect amongst themselves a
new government. But unfortunately, that will never happen.
