Thinking of getting that IronMaster bench. But the bench is not that long
so I'm afraid my head might not be resting on the bad when in the incline
position because you need to attach the seat. I'm 6'. Could you please
measure the distance from the top of the seat to the top of the bench when
the seat is in the bottom most position? Thanks!

+78 Tranz Am Man I read your reply that it is 31" with the seat in the highest position and you are 1 inch shorter than me and it is fine. But that would be in the middle of the neck for me. Can you please measure again at the lowest level? I'd want to do it that way for incline bench press. Thanks so much in advance!

Thanks for the great review. I have the Super Bench and I'm looking at
getting the power rack you reviewed. I was hoping you could answer one
question for me. Can you use the bench inside the rack to do flat and
incline bench presses? I was hoping to use the the catches for safety since
I lift alone.

Nice review Chris! I'm considering giving the PPPR200X a buy, as it's £299
here in the UK, which is much cheaper than most racks and £50 cheaper than
an other one i spotted. Anyway, how stable are the safety catchers when
failing a weight when squatting for example? What's the weight capacity as
well? I've seen so many different numbers on the capacity, thanks!

They appear to be 1 inch solid steel rods...I have had a few failed squats at around 325 or so and the rack did not show any difficulty catching the weight. I have also put over 450-500 lbs of weight on the safety catch rods just to see if I could lift it off the rod at all (just fooling around). Lifted it a few inches and dropped it back down. No problems. Rods are still straight and true. Only the most elite lifters would need to be concerned about lifting so much weight that they might be unsafe in this cage. It might rattle a little here and there...but this thing is very capable. To this day I would buy the exact same setup again. No regrets.

lol well if your looking to buy one of mine, my system is long since parted
out and sold. you can get these crunch P1100.2 amps on amazon for around
80-90 bux each. well worth it too.
