yes, they guy in the red truck should have been arrested. The poor guy in the S10 wanted to leave, if you notice, the red truck was right behind it and blocking the way out. As the s10 tried to find a way out, the guy in the red truck wasn't letting him go and instead assaulted the kid. I'm quite sure that with this tape the case is in court and the officer was either suspended or reprimanded.

You can only hold them within reason though. Or at least in the UK thats how it works. If you injure someone trying to hold them (or ram them with your car) you would find yourself charged with assault. Its not the publics job to hold people, thats what police are paid for! Well, I'm going to slightly defend myself. 1) I am not a dumbass. 2) I had a hard time differentiating the woman's voice as an adult or a child after the "or you can go to your room" comment. ... the girl/woman didn't need to expose the child to this act of violence.
