+bill smith I certainly hope that simplified construction techniques will replace the cumbersome, time-consuming and painstaking bricklaying that we've had for centuries. (Read Edward de Bono's Simplicity.)
+ExclusiveLM Hell, I would live in a van, if it was even possible, legally speaking. People will always be forced to live in houses because that is the only way to tax everyone.
+bill smith ...........Sadly, because of the greed of governments and rich companies most of the world is pushed to accept less of everything. One day most people will live in vans because everything will get to expensive. We accept that like sheeps.
No cement and CBS and wood is already way too cheap....metal can be used
for other things... I think its not practical for many reasons including
fire and survival and many issues revolving health too...and metabolism.
Consumption with farmed wood, cement and CBS not much consumption at all...
CBS is the least expensive along with cement...I think...and the safest and
the most durable. Wood breathes...so all the woods have to be
maintained...so cheaper or less expensive is not better....with cement you
use detergent and or bleach and it washes out great. You can still add all
the plywood as decoration over the CBS and cement and have no issues with
over consumption. No cement, CBS and wood is not expensive.
I do like it, the interior but not the metal exterior...I prefer a logcabin look or something that looks like faux stones......it has marketability and a place in the market.
The space appears to be perfect...how the architect manages space...very, very nice. They'd be perfect as challets...instead...for vacation...that's how you'd get the most complaints...that's in fact how they're used in the US. Long lasting is what you want...because with CBS and cement your children can buy the property from you when they grow up....and as long as they clean then its liveable. Wood is a lot of maintenance every summer for 2 weeks to a month...every single year you own the house.
I went to a workshop with Zoe and she played that song. She said it was a remix she made and it would be coming out on an album soon. Not sure when though. :(
It's obviously a remix... It starts with 'Rue Sibelius' but I don't know what the other song and don't know where to find this remix. Would appreciate if someone find the second song or the remix.

TINY- Tiny Houses Documentary & AMERICAN (ESP)IONAGE with Director Christopher Smith
Tiny houses documentary, TINY, is shared by director Christopher Smith with the trailer and footage of his film on the surprising movement to live with less.
+per sebrapiehole..lol, Throwback cuss word.As for the shotgun shack movement, you can have it. You're not looking at the big picture most of this hipster talk about tiny houses is just marketing. What the industrialists want to do is to create more units in smaller spaces, that of course equals more money. Wake Up!!! look beyond your provincial viewpoint.
+ProjectDystopia Shut your piehole! It's the opposite. People are making the decision to own something of value instead of renting and being in debt. People dont have to be slaves to their jobs to pay for mortgages or buy lots of crap. People can get up and move where they want if their house is on wheels. People are developing designing and building skills and getting up to speed on the technology and materials. Some folks will be able to live off grid, full time or part time. If your boogy man wanted tiny houses, he would be making it easier to dismantle the housing codes with is giving so many people problems. Its the main issue of tiny housing.
