I f***ing love this, I can hear ELO, and Andrew Gold in this track, Great
Mini Guitar Solo, Cannot wait to hear this played live. One of my favourite
tracks off the album.
+Suzanne Zoerb +Ashley Bouchard +Liberty Talk FM They announced in a Twitter Q&A that they do plan to make another album! Someone asked if they had recorded any more songs during the Silverball sessions, and Ed said they were gonna "Move on with a fresh batch". :)
+Michael Burke The room in this video is actually Ed's personal collection, not a public arcade. There are probably some good locations out there though, or wherever you're at. Check the Pin Map on Pinside and see if there's any pinball near you!
Barenaked Ladies have evolved in both their songwriting and (more
specifically) lyric skills since their inception way back in the early
90's. Their thoughts reflect their wisdom. I love and appreciate them for
that. Still sharp and reflectional as always!!!
+Sally Hardner I much prefer they're earlier 'less evolved' efforts. They were at times witty, humorous, emotional and raw. Most importantly however, they were honest. These days it sounds like they're more concerned with having another hit. Every song seems to be inspired by, and having the emotional depth of, a 'motivational quote" poster on some elementary school wall.
This is a fantastic song! I heard Kevin Griffin on Music Business Radio,
and he talked about this song. I heard a lo fi (car radio) snippet and
liked it. Kiss your producer and engineer, because the production is
great. It's a fresh take on all the stuff I've always loved about BNL.
(now, you can mail me that check, or give me a couple of passes in nashville
next bnl show...)
+ShakexJunt This stuffs okay, but I also agree that their old stuff is what's keeping there current fan base.If they were a whole different band, the recognition would be far less. Hahaha.
