I own the original Edirol-branded version of these and have used them for mixing with pretty decent results :) I find the default bass/treble a bit overhyped; the "sweet spot" setting for me is to have both between 9 and 10-o-clock. I recommend using the digital input too, I compared it against the analog out on a UA-25EX; the digital was dramatically less noisy.

SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY TO THIS would the RCA outs send better then the Minijack 3.5 mm outs? I read that the 3.5mm jacks had a 192khz DAC.

Yes, the Edirol speakers were re-branded as Cakewalk speakers earlier this year.
