That kind of depends. We have public school, libraries, and the internet. However, I don't consider any one person's time to be free (the saying: "thank you for your time"). Anything that requires ones time is ultimately counting as a cost to that person -- some people choose to turn this into a living (teachers, professors, etc.). In the Internet, these ethics are more of a code of honor than an actual toll bridge that was originally designed to benefit both consumer of information and creator.

That is the best synth tutorial I have ever seen. You just make an extremely sophisticated synth accessible in 8 minutes. Good job. I just watched a 40 min tutorial on this thing and it was no where near as informative. 10/10 for cogency.

Halo guys ….I have a sound going in modulation source (EG1) to destination (ALL FILTERS RESO) and i would like to pitch bend this sound but it doesn't seem to reply to the main pitch bend mode. How can i pitch bend a modulation signal ?

do you have a host program? like ableton for example? I think you need one of thoose. At least I use ZETA with Ableton 9

Are you playing in standalone or patching it in as a VST? You should use ASIO drivers if you are using the microhost.

Hi Adam, thanks for watching! I do snip up double-bass as far as I can, which ofetn results in me having no social life :( But on rare ocassions, the double kicks can be so close together that snipping is close to impossible (for example, in a fast triplet pattern), so in these cases, I generally time-correct these as a group, making sure the first kick is on the bar line, and the last too if possible. But for the most part - YES I do try to chop up the double kicks. I'm not saying I'm right of course, but that's what I do!

Thanks for the explanation that was really useful. Particularity the snare processing, I've been trying to work out how to do that for ages. I wasn't compressing again before the gate! The only thing I would ask is would you really snip the drums up like that with more intricate parts? Once you have double bass pedals over splashy cymbals the way you suggest would be quite hard to do, unless you want the close mic bass drums out of phase with the overhead?
