Hi, it's connected using the standard Apple Camera Connection Kit, it's also known as CCK, you can get them on Amazon or from any Apple shop, there are a lot of cheap version out there but I would recommend you get the genuine Apple CCK, I tried a few of the cheap ones and some work and some don't, I have a video on our website that's shows you how to connect any keyboard to your iPad or IPhone, it shows you exactly what you need and how to do it step by step, here is a link for that //thesoundtestroom.com/how-to-connect-a-midi-keyboard-to-your-ipad-step-by-step/I hope that helps you out

Hey Peri, I don't think you would be disappointed with Z3TA, it does an awful lot and is certainly more intuitive than Thor

I do not want to drag and drop the pre-patched drum riff to my composition.
I'd like to know how I can manually "write" the drums into the composition,
once I've setup the kit I'm going to use. Someone please point me to where
I can get a tutorial for this exactly. Thank you

+Josef Wright (Vildhjartist) You could use the View- piano roll for that track and click with your mouse to add each drum/cymbal. Search for piano roll drums.
