Protest! Stewart Detention Center Lumpkin, GA 11/22/14 (Video by Paki Wieland.)
Immigrants Deserve Dignity, Part One
This 3-part video documents the plight of detained immigrants at the Stewart County Detention Center in Lumpkin, GA.
Did you do a research about the requirements that a Mexican with not US
Citizen or Residents family member needs to have a resident card?? or are
you just talking out of your ass??? because your comment sounds like a
fart!! how many illegal immigrants friends do you have?? if you don't have
any, why not?? how many international friends do you have??? how many black
and white friends do you have??? don't you think that perhaps you don't
have a good cultural awareness?
The thing here and what is happening around the country is these protesters
do not know the whole story. They don't even realize that the majority of
detainees are prisoners who have served their time in prison as criminals.
These people like to confuse everyone that the detainees are actual people
on expired Visas just to make it sound that much more bad.
This almost sounds like concentration camps. Someone please explain-How
does tearing families apart benefit anyone? Oh and thanks GOD for the 45
million dollar jails. Sad but now we have more jails in our country than
schools. Minutemen, SOS and all hate groups we have a bigger fight ahead of
us. Get your head out your ass and see the big picture!!
Were not tearing families apart. They do that to themselfs when they come
here illegally. They have the choice to take their families with them. Its
not fair to all other americans who pay taxes? And why the hell cant they
SPEAK ENGLISH? How about they compromise instead of us? MLL07?
i am not afraid of illegal aliens taking my job becuse a illegal alien cant
do it. what i fear is that they might change my way of life. that this
might turn into another mexico i see spanish everywhere i dont speak
spanish i dont whant to learn it thats what i dont like
@thesistersgarcia Did they enter the US in a legal manner? Went though the
proper federal channels to get work visas? No expired visas? If you anwser
no to any question then yes, they have committe a crime.
You don't know what you are talking about.. most of the people try to be
legal, but the law makes it so hard... just ask around, and then come back
and post a comment.
What makes condition so bad to cause hunger strike? Because a lot of the
detainees are spoiled and rotten and come from prisons where they are
spoiled there also.
