Vienna - Five Things to Love & Hate about Visiting Vienna, Austria - The Best & The Worst of Vienna
//www.woltersworld.com Vienna is one of the greatest cities to visit in Europe. Here are some things you will love and hate about visiting Vienna, Austria ...
This video is kind of biased; I want to hear what 5 things an actual
Viennese loves and hates about their wonderful city. Also, another European
perspective, such as a French, Italian, Swede, etc. would be nice. Every
video I see here on YouTube that lists things to love or hate about Vienna
is from an American's perspective, and is therefore biased.Thank you and
have a great day:-)
The views of an American are more biased towards a city they don't live in that the views of someone who does live there. At this point, it is clear to me that you are trolling. Please go away, and stop dissecting everything people say.For the last time, I was not trying to offend anyone with my original statement.
+Rivka G You said you were tired of american views AND you said american views were biased (and French, Italian, Swede views weren't). Did you know he's american? Well, guess what...HE'S A FUCKING AMERICAN YOU DUMBASS!!! Which means if you say a)people who are american have biased views and are tired of views from people who are americanb) woltersworld IS americanthen...c) You're saying he has biased views and you're tired of his views.
I never said I was tired of woltersworld or anything close to that. And I did say someone from Vienna. What do you think "Viennese" means? I said his american view is biased when it comes to Vienna. Why do you have to dissect everything?
+Rivka G Yeah but he was OBVIOSULY talking about "american" referring to the country America (aka United States). Plus you didn't say you would like a view from someone from Vienna, you said in a channel of a person who IS AMERICAN, that "american views are biased", meaning you're tired of woltersworld simply because he's american.
Also, I was not trying to be rude in any way. All I said was I would like to know the opinion of someone who is from Vienna, what they like and hate about their city. A Viennese opinion would be more accurate as they live there year round. I was simply making an observation, and was not trying to be rude. Apologies if you took it the wrong way.
+Rivka G No I think you're biased and directing prejudice towards him just because he's american. Wow, ok, he's SORRY he was born in the US. If you don't like to see videos with an american in them (which is prejudice), then get the fuck out.
+DasZuckerhaus also in terms of parties its true that as an outsider you wont be able to party but there are a lot of secret parties for people w/in the specific scenes (alternative, techno, etc)
+woltersworld : For the next time You visit Austria, regarding restaurant
service: when You sit down, the waiter will first take Your drink orders,
then hand You the menue. When he brings You the drink, he expects You to
have choosen Your food. If not, then just talk with him about the dishes
and make Your choice during this conversation. Or, if You want to read the
menue a little longer, then do so. As soon as You have made the choice ->
CLOSE THE MENUE! That is the sign for him to come and take Your orders. As
long as the menue is open, he will not come! Closing the menue is the sign
for a trained waiter to ask for Your orders. And then he will leave You
alone, in peace, he normally expects to be waived at, if You want anything,
or want to pay. AND: You can stay in a Kaffeehaus FOR HOURS with just one
drink! No waiter will expect You to order more. Austrians themselves spend
a whole afternoon for fun in the Kaffeehaus reading, playing chess or
cards, or talking with friends, and they need not order something every
half an hour. That is the secret behind "Crappy service". The rule for the
waiter is to respect Your privacy!
+Nadja Milfait Cello It's the same in France. Once you have chosen your meal, you need to close the menue or drop it face-off on the table, meaning you have made your final choice. The difference is, as you pointed out, the fact that you can stay in a Kaffeehaus for hours with just one order (apart from very touristic ones).
+Nadja Milfait Cello Some visitors, like the guy who made this video, just are too uneducated to know professional etiquette when they are exposed to it.
+Nadja Milfait Cello yes, the close the menu is vital :) all the best on your travels

4:15 Belvedere had nothing to do with the emperor. It was the city home of
prince Eugen of Savoia (he wasn't a real prince, it was a title of the
time). The main imperial building was the Hofburg (can be translated to
Courtcastle more or less).
