There is a small breather hose underneath the airbox. If the oil has
immulsified in the breathers coming from the airbox it will not drain back
into the crank and will come out the breather. Usually it will leak when
the bike is on the sidestand. Take of the tank and check the breathers at
the airbox. Other than that i have no idea. Good luck.
did you find the problem please ? i have the same fckn issue

I took this videoclip just before going to first ride of the season 2013. Temperature was around +6C but it's not a problem for my XJ. :) I did a basic maintenance ...
Kiitosta vaan! Tosiaan jos hyväkuntoisen KMX200:n löydät, niin kannattaa
tehdä lotto sillä viikolla. On meinaan superharvinainen malli. Siksi en
omastani luovu enää kirveelläkään. Paljon riippuu siitä, pitääkö olla
2-tahti vai nelari. 2-tahti joka menisi tuohon kategoriaan olisi esim.
Suzuki TS 250r. Niitä tehtiin 80-luvulla ja tietääkseni aika vahvoja
vehkeitä. Tosin suomessa nekin harvinaisia, muutaman olen nettimotossa
nähnyt. Luottovalinta nelaripuolelta on ehdottomasti Yamaha XT 350. jatk->
Sitä on käyttänyt mm. suomen puolustusvoimat ja rajavartiosto. Osia niihin
saa hyvin ja ajoltaan on semmoinen hyvä kompromissi maaston ja maantien
välillä. Niitä on jonkinverran tarjollakin yleensä ja kunto vaihtelee
paljon. Niitä on tehty 80-luvun puolivälistä 90-luvun loppupuolelle saakka
samanlaisena, joten lastentauteja ei ilmenne. Honda NX 250 on taas vähän
enempi maantielle suunnattu malli. Selaile nettimotoa aktiivisesti niin
saattaa tärpätä. Kiva kun joku muukin tykkää kasaripyöristä.
XJ 600 is a very good bike for touring. Good sitting position and a pretty
strong engine for it's size. Can do 200km/h anytime and riding with two up
with no probs. Also very simple to maintain comparing more modern bikes.
For example you can change the spark plugs without removing anything but
the plug caps(takes only a couple of minutes). ;) Also the oil and filter
change is very easy. I just love those 80's bikes! ;P
Nätti pyörä. Osaisitko suositella mitään isompaa enduroa kuin 125cc ja
maksimissaan 35kw eli että sais ajaa nykysellä pikku A-kortilla. Tarkotus
That's good to know that it can tour. I was facing buying a V-Strom 650 but
not affordable right now, so it was a pipe dream. Then this same bike as
yours fell in my lap for $800, and I could not believe it! When I can get
the bike in hand, I will post a video. Relieved to know it's easy to work
on. My other bike us a Ural, lol
Thanks! It's clean and I also polished it with a Simoniz car wax. ;) Very
comfortable bike especially when riding 2 up. It's also a real youngtimer
classic. Quite rare to see on the road here in Finland nowadays. I'll
definately ride it a lot during the season! Cheers...
Very cool, thanks for the info about the racks! I just bought 1988 FJ600
and wondered how I was going to fit racks and bags when I stumbled across
your video. Now maybe I can do a little touring too..
Those are the universal Kappa racks. Those was in place when I bought the
bike. I can't say where the previous owner bought those. Anyway those racks
seems to fit quite nicely.
I like to use some Carb Clean ( Cheap stuff works for me) And a Guitar
string (Smallest one) When you open the carbs up, take the Idle and main
jet out! Small and big, Brass in color.(Flathead screw driver) After you
have them off you should be able to look inside them and see a small amount
of light. (Parts you took off) Spray some carb clean in and use the guitar
string to clean out any gunk. Then check to make sure your floats move
smooth and dont get stuck. Thats about it.. Clean all parts
hey you don't need to go that far. Just take the carbs off the bike and
drain them of all the fuel. There is a screw on the back side of the carbs
( Facing the rear of the bike) Unscrew that until the fuel comes out repeat
that for the rest. Then undo the carbs from the bike. I put a clean large
rag on my lap and lay the carbs on my lap. Take the back side off of each
carb ( Not the rounded side but the same side with the drain screw.) Once
you get them off there are 3 brass/copper parts...
I'm thinking of getting a '92 XJ600 as my first bike & just have one
question that I haven't been able to find on the internet: Is this bike
carbureted or fuel injected? I need a bike that will be a good, reliable
daily driver even in winter temperatures (~30 degrees Fahrenheit on a
typical winter morning here). I was dead set on the Suzuki GS500E until I
found out it was carbureted & would be a pain in the ass to start in the
fall & winter.
@Twistedshot101 wow that sounds so much freakin better then mine... i have
a 94 seca with the plastics taken off just like this one... i would love to
replicate this sound... at the risk of asking a question thats already been
asked 50 times... how do i go about removing the mufflers? is it a
permanent process? does it involve... cutting? or unscrewing? i guess would
be what i need to know
@agangushka the xj600 is a great bike, but dont expect it to move like the
cbr600's or the gsxr600's its quarter mile time is in the low-mid 13's i
think. so its a little bit faster then my V8 camaro.
hey man I wont to buy the bike and it is the same model but it is 1996
....and i also want to make it streetfighter ....can you tell me is the
bike any good ?
