+Vu Ux That wasn't a syllogism, I was just defending urban chaos saying that these kids are losers. You can tell they have no social skills at all so yes, they are losers. But I can give you a true syllogism: Because these kids have to spend an absurd amount of time studying spelling, they rarely interact with people. If you do not interact with people, you will not have any social skills. Therefore, because these kids have to spend an absurd amount of time studying spelling, they do not have any social skills

+javarison53 It's not just memory that's involved in spelling, there is etymology, linguistics, word patterns of different languages, etc. Saying it's just memory is a bit of a generalization. Also, you're creating a false syllogism by saying that these kids lack social skills because they participate in spelling bees, when in reality, neither of us can know why they are anti social.
