Symphony X - Live at Osaka - Japan Live in Olympus Set List - 01- At the four corners of the earth 02- Of Sins And Shadows 03- Eyes of Medusa 04- Dressed to ...
cabe).
Definitely Russell's worst years, i just can't imagine what these
pre-odyssey really progressive metal songs would sound with the huge thick
and powerful voice Russell has today and has had since some years now, or
even with the voice he had in the damnation game album wich i liked too.
Sadly today they're just another good metal band...
+sepita10 But this is normal! Are times we do not know as they really happened , maybe it was wrong, or perhaps the album did not ask such a pitch in a certain note. The voice changes and with it comes the adaptation . Russell has evolved a lot and sing things of 10.15 years ago is really complicated for him ( As with many other vocal ) . But I understood your question.
+Demetrius Ricon I'm not only saying that about Russell singing live and it has nothing to do with these being their first shows, it has to do with vocal technique, in divine wings he starts to lose power on high notes and in twilight in olympus he struggels more at hitting notes in the 5th octave. Today though they not perform old songs anymore, but he nails any c5s or d5s with no problem (wich he skipped in the chorus of dressed to kill for example), technically he's advanced a lot and i'm sure any good vocal coach will agree.
i actually agree with this guy Inferno, The Odyssey, This Song, The New
Version of Masquerade, and Accolade II are the only remarkably good songs
on the album.. of course all the others rock, but they just don't seem
quite as original and special, and doesn't have that really nice groove
that i love. Symphony X rocks! Don't miss out on my opionion regarding that!
Romeo rules that guitar like a god, and Russel rocks the shit out of the
vocals! Miller is doing some heavy bass domination and Pinnella is the
chemo curing the cancerous rumour about pianists/organists being booring!
And Jason Rullo is a friggin machine with attitude!
I like static x because it was one of the first metal bands i ever heard :b
searching for them one day i came across Symphony X.. guessing because of
the X.. but static x is not really that good.. it's just the nostalgic feel
;).. i'm very happy i found symphony x :D
@MichaelxAlexander They made it available for (yes, legal..) download on
their website, just go to their website Symphony X dot com, then go to
downloads, then audio, and it should be there. Sorry I can't post the link
youtube won't let me.
this is a pretty cool song, never heard it before and symphony x was my
favorite band for a looong time haha. but it definitely doesn't have
anything very special to it, nothing stands out but overall a good song
Yeah it's a shame... I had very high expectations with Iconoclast
considering they took 4 years to make the album since Paradise Lost. And it
happened to be just a PL rehash :\
i listened to it again to answer your question to the fullest.. i don't
find it anything extraordinary.. but as with most of Symphony X's songs, it
still has a nice groove :b
It has the bad habit to rip my pants and dance. The most annoying is when it
does it while im in public places. That scumbag.Does your dick dance as well
or it is only mine?
Thanks for uploading this track. This should have made the original cut,
but I understand the need to give their import listeners a little something
extra. Great song!!
@MichaelxAlexander - Go to Symphony X's official website - then click on
downloads, then audio. Frontiers is one of the songs they let people
download for free.
I cannot believe that they transmitted in Mars using Curiosity a song by a
shitty rapper about space exploring... when they could have transmited THIS
SONG!!!!
