At least your precious camera was safe, we can all rest well now. Not sure how it went walkabouts when it was firmly attached to your hand there and it didn't look like chaos . At least her camera is safe people! Maybe you should give donations or something like $50 is a start. Not many of us understand the dangers our cameras face in today's climate of constant chaos, you know people mulling around, cars moving slowly, utter chaos! I feel this video shares the fact that there are still good people out there. Joshua and Angela Rebol went out of their way to return a lost camera to a stranger! Not even knowing you Katie, I am impressed and proud that you went back to complete your goal and run over the finish line with your sister. We need to believe in the good in people and also remember it may take multiple steps before you make it to your goals, but there is never an excuse to stop trying. Happily sharing this video!

You were so worried about your family at the finish line but your running past did not change You even started walking yeah you really worried. NOT! And where did you lose your camera at because you had it when you said you were going to start walking to your sisters.Did anyone else notice the cop tell her to keep running after the bombs went off you would think they world have stopped everyone where they were since 2 bombs just went off and the cops said they didn't know if there were more

I'm curious to know why you aren't even listed in the registry of participants? I'm also curious why the articles state that you were to meet your parents and sister at the finish line but you clearly were running beside your father during the race and hugged your mom in the middle of the race along the route. One more thing - how is it that the finish line still looked freshly painted but in photos taken 9 days after the race, the paint is already scraped off the street?

Katie, tears and chill bumps. I am absolutely amazed by this video. I have shared it on Reddit and will share else where because it is just beautiful. I love that you captured the spirit of the race, the uncertainly as you approached downtown and best of all, your ultimate finish with your beautiful sister.

Katie can you tell us why the finish line looks like it was just painted? Do a google image search for: Boylston Street reopens. There you will find a picture of what the finish (painted on road) looked like on April 24, 2013.
