This is painful to watch. Looking at that beautiful face and hearing the news anchors repeatedly say "killed" and "death" fills me with this overwhelming feeling of sorrow and grief. It's hard to explain, but I really don't wanna watch this video ever again.

I'm still fucked up about it my brother was in JAIL ok, and he called me that day and was like "man aaliyah dead" im like "boy quit playing " he like naw for real niggas in here crying I just changed the subject and went on later on, the news came on and confirmed. +Sharry Adams you are a motion at best. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff, they didn't fly 2 miles looking for another landing strip. Also, the recording is super fake and I got mad when I heard the idiot doing the "chh" with his mouth. why y'all always saying something is fake? I actually believe this is the actual recording of her fatal crash. from whiteness testimony, her plane did nose dive when it crashed just moments after taking off. look @ the plane in video. it did just that. they have cameras @ small airports and everything has to be recorded. so why would this be fake? it took a while before this recording even surfaced online, so that's why I believe its the real deal. oh 1 more thing. you can actually hear when the engine went out on the plane if you listen closely. . get your facts and pay attention to important details besides writing. oh. its fake. bye.

I remember where I was when I heard of her death. I was 7 years old in 2001, I was in the dentist office the morning after her death and it was all over the news. I started crying instantly.

Actually, a lot of artists have died in small plane crashes since before Aaliyah was even born. Chances of going down are slim when your plane is well maintained, the weather is good, and your pilot is experienced and responsible. Unfortunately that's not always the case and accidents happen because people often think nothing can happen to them so they do what they want anyway.

I'm still on the fence about their exclamation of the plane crashing. As small as that plane was, there is no possible way I would board a plane if I was informed that it was overweight especially if I'm traveling from the Bahamas to New York City. Only God knows the answer and truth but I personally don't believe that the passengers were aware that the plane was overloaded. I also don't understand why they hired a pilot who failed a drug test days before to fly this plane. There are so many errors and it's sad that it took the life of innocent people. Also, I think if you are a big Aaliyah, you shouldn't be comparing her to Beyoncé because it's a disrespect to her life in every single video you have to compare it to another artist. Aaliyah was a great artist and we should celebrate that instead of downing another artist

Makes no sense all the money she had and she flying like she was broke. Like come on. And to top it all off why such a shitty and shabby location for a video shoot they had the worst hotel service and barely any food like they were in a third world fucking country who booked this disaster of a trip all to shoot a video. Makes no sense. Matter of fact I hear there was no running water.....come on as wealthy as Aaliyah was she could stay out the country in much better conditions. There was somebody else running all this behind the scenes and I smell some shit in the game a heaping pile of it.

It's bullshit, she don't deserve to die,neither the rappers that died in the 1990s, including left eye Lisa lopes, but that shit about the funeral, memories, and the crash was pretty sad which I'm crying about honestly, but I don't got allergies. I really wish that she'd be alive so I can have her autograph, photo pic with her, and write a song with her, because every time I'm fallen down broken, not only God picks and helps me up, but the goddess Aaliyah helps me get up on my feet too with her hand out to pull me up and never give up until I win the fight.
