their ya go , im running all old school though 302 with a 2 barrel carb might swap later for the 4 though , 3 on the tree manual transfer case and hubs , dual front shocks , leafs in the back , im sure it will suck the gogo juice fast though , drums all the way around and no power steering , it will double as a dooms day rig as well so im trying to keep electrical out of it , plus it makes it more of a challenge for fun purposes and keeps any thieving bastards from steeling it since everyone these days only knows about new school tech lol , ill prob end up adding even more but first I have to get my house done lol , damn houses take so much money to build , I cant wait to get on building my 66 mustang 4x4 built for hell project , im sure once its on the road it will be the only one , and im sure people will stop me everytime wanting to know about it , it never fails with classics , I don't mind though , hey im sure yours will be the only gas saving rig as well , take a car and make a rig out of it , it will wow people all day long
Sounds like a plan. I'm pretty sure that the 32 gallon tank is going to take up more than half the trunk. I know I ran 32" tires on my bronco and that tank was about as big as the 32 in tire but it had a lot of depth up into the chassis of the truck. As far as range I was looking to do something similar for a "ultimate mpg" experiment. It was going to be an 80's escort diesel with LPG and a small turbo added as well as the bronco's 32 gallon gas tank. It should get closer to 70mpg or better with the LPG mix and it should also be pretty sick to see how cheap it is to really get across the country :D
65 mustang trunks are pretty big . im thinking 1/3 or maybe even half the trunk behind the rear seat , it might end up being more then 32 gallon , not sure what half a 66 mustang trunk would be in gallons , but that's the plan , long range fuel tank , id make the tank to fit in the trunk with the fuel fill tube on the driver side right by the B piller and rear window instead of center in the rear since the reist hitch and spare tire go their , either way my 66 mustang 4x4 will be a daily driver so it also has to handle unwanted stupid drivers on the road also , it will be heavy and as durable as possible so the dumby drivers crumple instead of me , so fuel tank has to be big enough for all the added steel tubing body and chassis supports combined , might as well say the whole mustang rig will be a tank lol , its already around 3000 lb as a 4x4 without doing anything to it yet , I cant wait to get it done and on the road and trails
+675mustangYou throwing in a 32 gallon bronco gas tank? I've even wanted to do that to my escort. lol. It's more than twice the size of my factory fuel cell. I just don't want to ruin the weight biase it has for the front or have to drive to from cali to florida just to get a 1/4 tank at a track day. If I had an escort diesel from the 80's that'd probably be the first mod I'd do :D
idk yet , im gonna take it apart and rebuild it from the ground up so I know every nut n bolt , plus theirs a few things I need to do to it , like exo and ino cage , pushbar , bigger fuel tank rust repair , yunno stuff to make last as long as m alive but durable as all hell like a tank lol
+Brendan LadaToo bad their starting to climb in price. I'm even seeing 93's only slightly cleaner than my XLT pushing the better part of 4k. Thinking broncos may become an investment.
Does theroll cage get in the way at times? Like getting in and out, do you
hit your knees?

@turdburdy I live in Georgia (U.S.) and it is very hot in the summer, and
cool in the winter. Right now (i believe it's technically the first day of
fall) it is about 92 degrees F or 33.33 C... and it doesn't show any signs
of getting cooler soon. But hopefully it will be "hoodie weather" come
October.
@psychoclown420 The summers are hot and the winters are cold. On the west
coast in southern BC, where this was filmed, we get more rain than snow.
How's the weather down there ?
