thanks, gave me a little more insight on what mine could be, I have a 1993 bronco Eddie Bauer 351W 5.8L same setup as yours. I almost thought it was the fuel pump, cause it acted like no fuel. but it has been running fine since i put a new fuel filter, then the other day it died and I had to key on key off a few times and it started fine. so it is hard to say what it could be. i had it sitting for about 10 min or so then it died and would not come on. I let it cool down and it started right up. so it could be that but Im gonna have some stuff tested first. thanks

so I found the problem, It Was the Ignition control module. The problem was that the engine would act like it was out of gas. And would shut off after a while, then tried to start but acted like it was out of gas. I did open the computer up and it was fine. so I took my module to the auto parts store to test. It tested fine but I still got it anyway. well my truck would start and shut of after 10 min and not start again. so with the new one, it did not start. so went back they tested a new one and it was bad also. so they got me a better one. and then that fixed the problem. so now she runs just fine.

Also be warned that I had the ECM fail completely on mine. If you can't get it worked out then take the ECM out and open it up. Look for burned capacitors or anything at all darkened. Mine popped all 3 and was quite obvious. Mine would sorta run but was very rich and soon became a no start condition. The only fix there is to replace the ECM.
