305s are awsome i have one in my 85 one ton silverado and i KNOW it will pull that ford backwards easyly (and yes its stock) in 4hi it spins all four tyres and its only an automatic 3speed (turbo 350)

+Justin Stearns It's a matter of weight distribution. I have a '96 F350 4x4 with the 460 and I also have a '78 Bronco with the 351M and my buddy and I took turns pulling with each truck against one another and neither got an inch on the other one. Both are stock and have BFG A/T's. You'd think a 4wd 1-ton would easily pull a 4wd 1/2 ton that weighs 1000 lbs. less but that's not always the case. This test you just witnessed proved nothing regarding Ford vs. Chevy.

The Ford has had thousands and thousands of dollars in work New radiator valve cover gaskets etc. The blazer was $250 and I am in it now for $700 it does not leak oil and I have a new radiator for it and new tires. The Ford lets us down time and time again the Chevy has never broken down. I would pick the Chevy any day over the Ford. Thanks for watching!! (-: Don't forget to subscribe
