ford bronco test drive 2 AOD transmission and 302 v8 5.0
ford bronco test drive. normal driving habits except spinning the wheels on gravel. that was fun. 302 v8 5.0 with AOD transmission 8.8 rear end and 31" tires on ...
@TheMilcria is your 4th gear overdrive working? you see, that transmission
is a piece of shit and that is the reason why i swapped it to a manual. i
get better ratios and it hauls way more ass then it did before. this thing
will smoke any bronco with an auto. i do not know what gears are in the
rear but its an 8.8 check out my other vid when i was driving it when it
did have the AOD in it
@bradmann85 the reason the oil pressure isn't on zero and the engine light
is not on is because of the impedance of the sensor and the wire. i think
the wire is corroded / burned from heat. the engine actually has 1/2 scale
or better oil pressure. within specs, almost as good as new. 302 is a great
engine
the bronco is a nice truck. i drive an 88 bronco with same engine. i also
like how tight of a turn i can make with this truck. its got a few hicups
but its still running good. your shift pattern is about the same as mine.
im supprised your engine light aint on due to the oil pressure at the
boarder line.
I have a bronco with a 5.0 2 barrel carb and an AOD transmission, the rear
end is 8.8" with 3.73 gear ratio. the truck does not go as it should,
because it goes to 100 kph (55 mph) when the engine is at 2500 rpm
its not actually in 4X4. I discovered the sensor was partly on because the
shifter bracket was rusted tight. a good solid push forward makes it shut
off
Yeah mate. Not long now and hoping to have another video of a finished
chassis. Body is still the same though. Motor is just about finished also.
Thanks for the interest.
+riagan trease hey mate im looking at bagging a bronco exactly the same as yours, is there any chance you could email me so i could ask you a few questions?
