Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Heatsink Review
In my first video, I will be doing a review of the Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme CPU cooler. This cooler is the latest by Tuniq, and it utilizes some of their latest ...
@AggressiveNapkin16 Sounds kind of strange, yeah. Check if you mounted
correctly/spread thermal paste right. It may be that it is hot in your room
as well. Check the load temps versus what you had on stock; idle temps
aren't anything to be worried about. A lot of coolers will only have a
small improvement in idle temps versus stock coolers, but at load you
should see a larger improvement. Don't forget to subscribe if you liked my
video, would appreciate it. :)
@AggressiveNapkin16 Hmm, from what I remember the manual said to use a card
to spread the paste out - maybe you should try that, because HDT coolers
have small gaps between the base and the heatpipes where paste won't fill
in. Anyways, for a quad, 43c isn't bad at all, especially if you've got it
OCed. You could probably get a bit better if you fixed the paste, but
you're fine, the limit for Phenoms is sixty something celsius.
Hey i just got mine installed today, i feel like something isnt right, im
running 38c right now just being on youtube. The stock amd phenom ii x4 965
cooler was getting me 40c so thats why im thinking its not right, what
temps are you getting, its also a lil hot in my room atm, downstairs where
its cooler i run 33c. Does that sound about right?
@hardwareinsight I read in the manual it said to put a little more paste
than usual, also i used the grain method but just a tad more than i would
normally, using prime95 i got to 43c, not bad, im back idling at 36 now i
supposed thats ok, but thats what i should be idling after a oc :/
@junkymagi Haha, nice! I had to take the side panel fan and put it outside
the case lol. My only problem was getting the 4 pin CPU power connector in
- I had to plug that into the board first, then attach the heatsink onto
the board, and then put the board into the case.
Hm, you should be able to take the backplate off. However, if you can't
then don't force it. I've got the fan facing my top exhaust fan. At least
on Intel sockets, you can make it face any way you want. Appreciate it if
you'd fav/rate/subscribe. ^^
I DONT LIKE YOUR REVIEW , I WANNA JUST KNOW IF THIS FUCKING THING WORKS ,
AND WOULD BE NICE IF HAVE SOME THERMAL MESURES WITH AND WITHOUT THIS CRAP .
I DONT WANNA KNOW ABOUT HIS BOX , PUT IT IN YOUR ASS .
@junkymagi Ah hehe. Oh, so you're getting it? Nice! Don't hesitate to ask
if you have any problems - although I don't think that you'd have any
problems, you seem very knowledgable. ^^
@junkymagi I've got it mounted with the fan exhausting hot air upwards.
Heat rises, so I would assume that that would be the best method. But it
probably only miniscule differences.
