It's like, once you take a role like The Doctor, it stalks the actor for the rest of their life... No matter where you are, at least one person will think " Oh my gosh, it's The Doctor!" But it's a great character to play, and it's nice to be appreciated for past roles...

These cars are as big a crowd-pleaser now as they were in the glory days of
the 70's and early 80's. The visual thrill is only beaten by that raucus
bellow from the pipes. Long live F5K!

I enjoyed the last Coventry, it was good to see Chris Cowley win, Imo it
wasn't the wrong decision to exclude Finnikin who was trying to avoid
hitting 45 Harrhy, I heard Clerk of the Course and Race Director arguing
Craig's case over the radio, but race control weren't having any of it,
like I said just my opinion..

I was at that race meeting. awesome day. awesome weather. awesome f5000's ,
the best race class we ever had in n.z. in my opinion. Smith is a legend.
used to watch him at Levin and manfeild when i was a kid. Used to cheer for
his La Valise Lola. ( I wonder where that is now? )thanks so much for the
in-car footage!!

Great video - thanks for posting it. He's a legend alright - such a smooth,
safe driver. Love the exhaust "suck back" when he backs off the throttle -
can't beat the old yankie iron for the noise factor. Kenny deserves a
knighthood for what he's put back into the sport and his younger charges.

Well watch this space. There will be heaps more as we do the rest of the
Tasman Revival Series 2007/2008... Better still, come watch live. You'll
love it. Satisfaction guarenteed. Kenny will be there. Come and have a yack

Great video! Kenny obviously still has the touch after fifty years. The b&w
picture gives it a retro feel thats somehow fitting when watching F5000.
