Telling the truth is usually right. But can it also sometimes be wrong? If so, when? And why? Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, a bestselling author and renowned scholar ...
+Ohad Klopman How can they not when half of the country is attacking them day after day? Nobody ever said politicians had to be polite or kind, most great leaders were neither one nor the other.
Okay, I don't get it. PragerU posts nothing but conservative bias, yet this
isn't political at all. I think? Did something happen that this is subtlety
commenting on? PragerU, please, go back to your bias! I can't handle this.
+genericusername562 Maybe not everything is politically motivated? 1) Does the person to whom I am speaking really need this information?2) Is what I am saying fair?3) Why am I saying it?
THUMBS DOWN. Honesty IS the best policy. Promoting "kindness" ABOVE TRUTH
is no different than promoting political correctness. The REAL golden rule
is to treat others as they DESERVE to be treated.
+Goku Pikachu if someone calls you fat, then you must TAKE offense to be offended. however, if someone says something about you, behind your back no less, that damages your reputation...then you have no control over that. the golden rule still stands.
Sorry but you are just going to have to deal with it, we have better
healthcare, we walk in, get treatment and walk straight out, it's as simple
as that, perhaps I might have to wait about 30 minutes for non urgent
treatment but urgent it's immediate, no bills, no loans and no insurance,
the only money that is spent is in the vending machines or shops while I'm
waiting.
Why are Americans so allergic to free healthcare, am I to understand that
you want to pay for your healthcare? SMH! I don't think I'll ever
understand the logic of some Americans, just because you pay for something
doesn't mean you will get a better service.
I'll tell you something that will piss you all off even more, Disabled
people get free cars (vehicle insurance, tax, MOT and servicing all paid,
all you need to do is put fuel in the car), free dentists, free eyecare,
hearing tests, GP visits and medication. Another thing, we have special
access to facilities for disabled people such as public toilets and
disabled badge holders can park almost anywhere they want.
In America, it's all about money, money, money, Americans are avaricious to
the extreme, that's all that the nation cares about, it all boils down to
GREED! I feel sorry for the majority who is affected by all this the most,
it's disgusting and a national disgrace.
+Declan Casey ARE YOU SERIOUS???Oh this is just too easy.Very well, I feel inclined to take you down a peg or Two.So best healthcare eh?! --> //www.forbes.com/sites/danmunro/2014/06/16/u-s-healthcare-ranked-dead-last-compared-to-10-other-countries/Next you are going to tell me that the educational standards in the USA are the best in the world also XD. Even Poland is far ahead of the USA in that department. So, I pay an extra 5p or so on my taxes to pay for my and other peoples healthcare? Bargain!I make $31,000 a year AFTER taxes, I don't feel like I'm hard up or "Taxed to Death" as you put it, I actually enjoy my Bang and Olufsen products and my brand new car thanks.$7,500 for Healthcare insurance, come on! Now who's being ripped off?!
This ridiculous rebuttal doesn't begin to even address your opponents more logical argument. Sorry. Time will not be wasted on you. Our actually healthcare, while not free, (we don't want to taxed to death like you guys, and that's why your standard of living is so far below ours,) is literally the best healthcare anywhere. 3rd world dictators and ministers are flown into the country constantly for medical attention, and the U.S. Receives tons of arrivals from other developed countries because of our great healthcare
+Ryan Ferretti To be perfectly honest our system works better than the American system and yes our NHS is paid for by the people for the people, we don't pay out the ass for it at all, who told you that nonsense, I feel like I don't pay anything, how the Government allocates funds to where it needs to go is none of my affair, as long as we don't have to be forced into stupid insurance policies that fist you every damn year "Just in case" you do have an accident then I don't care. How does it feel to live in a society where people have to go without medical care because they can't afford it? it must be nice how hospitals can decide to deny treatment based on pieces of damn paper, do you not think it's like saying that a persons life is worthless, how about being charged "Out the ass" for medication that should only cost a fraction of what they pay in other countries?!You know; if I fell off a ladder or was in a car crash I don't have to worry about the costs at all, I go in and walk straight out without ever putting my hands on my wallet, you can't understand the concept of distributed responsibility and equality, life over here isn't judged by your wealth, everything is about money in America, if you don't own a credit card then you are a social outcast, you can't even get by in America without credit of some sort, you are a nation of credit, everyone buys shit that they don't need and can't afford, people even buy tic-tacs on the damn credit cards. We look after eachother for eachother, in America it's all about self self self and you believe that we have an entitlement mentality! No! the idea is that you look after yourself and if you do need treatment then everyone helps you out and in return you help out others when you are better, it's more productive and doesn't victimise or punish the needy for something that wasn't their fault, I don't know about you but I like giving money to people who need it, so what if I pay an extra 5% on my sales tax, it doesn't hurt my pockets, perhaps you like paying $10,000 for a broken leg, to me the bill is more painful than the injury not to mention the anguish.America has the highest cost for medical treatment in the world but gives you one of the worst services in the world, $7500 per year on medical insurance, hah! you are being raped and you will defend it to the grave because you believe that it's the best when it's one of the worst systems to go by.If you don't agree with helping out people who need it then you are the Jackass for having no empathy or sympathy, what's next, kick a tramp day, how about mocking Down's victims, for shame America, for shame!
+Kit Bear You're a jackass. Free healthcare huh? You people pay out of you ass for healthcare. It's not free, it's prepaid via taxes. The reason why healthcare is so expensive in America is because there is a mixture of government subsidy and industry. This naturally drives up prices. If our healthcare was completely consumer driven like most other commodities and services, quality would rise while costs would lower. You don't understand Americans because you live in a society that believes individuals are entitled to things via the forced expense of other individuals. You're an entitled brat and cannot conceive of any other way. There's no reason to make America like Europe. We need diversity. If people don't like America, they can move to Europe and vice versa. America used to be the first and only nation in the history of the world that treated individualism as a sacred concept, wherein the individual was protected from the collective. The individual was completely and utterly free. Unfortunately, we're becoming like Europe because our people have become increasingly entitled and spoiled.
propaganda? LOL you idiot. yes, under a massive number of studies and
statistics across the world show the US IS the worst health system in any
first world country. (not first) and even ~some~ third world countries.
a large majority of people can't afford health in the US, you just die.
and yes, I'd sure as hell want to be in the UK with cancer than the US.
Guess what... it's gotten even worse after Obamacare -- the costs as a ratio to Surgical Outcomes is dropping off a cliff, and should worsen circa 2018 - 2025 ...mostly due to the component of US healthcare that was already socialized for DECADES, Medicare. When Obamacare was prepared, they made no effort to avoid the fraud, etc, which made Medicare a WORSE syystem than USA's private-sector healthplans (again as a ration of costs to Surgical Outcomes)... Corrupt Obama courted TLA, Big Pharma & other lobbyists -- and even went so far as to give Big Pharma favorable provisions as soon as they began donating more to Obama than to McCain.LOGIC: fix Medicare before EXPANDING the US gov's involvement in healthcare, as Medicare = the #1 largest problem in USA's deficit and is "unsustainable" according to CBO (congress's own non-partisan accountants). Democracy does not work when clueless fools like yourself overlook the corruption because "that guy's gonna gimme free schtuff" -- everyone from Plato to Ben Franklin, WEH Lecky, and Frederic Bastiat have noted WHY such an ECONOMIC "Tyranny by a Majority" (of shortsighted or uneducated voters) never works out. NHS is also failing -- they are now EUTHANIZING people who are considered "treatable" in the USA, and those citizens have FLED to USA (in the case of CHILDREN nhs tried to euthanize, they even tried to ARREST the parents who saved the kid's lives, all to cover-up how horrid & inhumane the BANKRUPT system has become!!!!): when the gov's OVERALL budget fails, nations with GOV healthcare also have healthcare fail (derp-der-derp: so obvious!!). If you want SUCCESSFUL gov healthcare, look to ANZ, CH, and Ticoland (but you're probably so uneducated & unworldly that you can't identify those 3 nations without aid from google, you probably also never even heard of WEH Lecky or Frederic Bastiat...): again, you don't have BANKRUPT GOVERNMENTS in ANZ, Israel, Switzerland, and Ticoland -- because they are capable of watching their own politicians & prosecuting the bad ones, unlike idiot Amercan/Southern Eurozone (socialist welfare-statist) Eurotards who don't comprehend that for democracies to last, your populace cannot be complacent, shortsighted (voting others money into your own pocket, which Plato & Ben Franklin both called an economic form of "Tyranny of the Majority" since Marx, etc, hadn't been born/available yet to give it adifferent name: Democratic-Socialism) -- and that ability to competently police their leaders, in contrast to you Obamabots, is why ANZ/Israel/Switzie/Ticoland all have decent (NON-BANKRUPTED) healthcare.
you stupid fuck, that's ONLY for emergencies, that's not for slowly losing your health, or treating things that accumulate and eventually kill you, or you get cancer or an auto immune disease or a million other medical conditions that aren't emergencies. all because you can't afford a doctor.the entire series of breaking bad was based on this shit, get a freaking brain you moron.
In Austria many schools removed the "Battle Of Vienna" from the curriculum
because they didn't want to offend the students of Turkish origin. Since
the battle of Vienna was a tremendous loss for the Turks. Spitting in the
face of truth, thank the libs for the usual uber PC garbage.
Dennis Prager on multiculturalism being taught in public school

Damn leftists teaching world history in schools! U.S. History is the only
kind of history right!!! That's all that should matter in social studies!
America is totes the only country in the world why should we try to
understand any others?
+Jacob Marburger We DO understand others. And they are not all good nor are they are all equal. The more America looks and acts like the rest of the world they weaker it becomes. That's empirical.
Couldn't agree more with Dennis. Our schools are creating multicultural
morons. They can't read, write or think and they teach our kids to hate
America.
Fair point, Prof Prager,
relevant to public policy, especially welfare-programs.
Fatal flaw:
Ignores those meritorious, who are genuine victims of discrimination
and have nothing tangible to be 'grateful for', ... never mind grateful 'to
whom'?
(Now please don't insult by spinning the yarn of
"be grateful to be alive, ... naked, cold, hungry, hunted and injured")
