Make the template on a computer, cut out the shape on wood or foam board. And then you spray print it gold and add the details with a black marker. If you're using foam board however, you may need to seal it with mod podge or something like that before spray pantning it. Also, make the template in multiple layers, maybe two for the blade, and 4 for the handle.
+TotalMetalJacket Social Justice and Social Justice Warrior is too different things, comparing the two is wrong. The term SJW is used negatively and has nothing to do with actual Social Justice. It's a term used of people that think they're being social justified or entitled to do whatever they do. Even if they aren't.It's like feeling morally superior to others based on your religious ideology or political ideology. In this case they feel superior because of entitlement.
+TwiztidMaGiCUhhh, I hope you realize the only thing people added to the term was "warrior", social justice advocate is the less pejorative term and social justice is itself an ideology. I would know, someone I know had to go to a social justice thing as part of getting a job. SJW wasn't mystically created, it's just a slight twist on an already existing concept.
+TotalMetalJacket lol... no xDhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IdeologyI guess you think being a troll is an ideology as well? Being called a gangster? A thug? Remember, SWJ is a term you use to define people that have this mentality. People do not call themselves a SJW, but are given the title by others. So no it is not an ideology. Here I'll help you further: //www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/ideologyI hope that helps you in understanding what you're trying to define SJW as and what it actually is ;)
+TotalMetalJacket SWJ is not an ideology!Being a social Justice Warrior is a term used to depict people that think they're entitled to defend others. You know nothing John Snow
+TwiztidMaGiCSJW-ism isn't just about defending random people you know that right? Like, that may be a thing they do, but it's not the point. It's about social justice, like shit in real life aye?The entire point is about defending minority groups, not just anyone. Chances are the guy you're bitching about is a white male defending another white male, SJWs don't give a fuck about that.
+TotalMetalJacket I find it funny you call it an ism, it's not an ideology xDBeing a SJW is all about trying to white knight other people as if you're entitled to defend other people even if they're not being attacked. Here's an example; someone criticizes a feminazi of the propaganda she spews because she can't back it up with actual evidence, then some SJW steps in because he feels it's his duty to save her. Feeling morally superior, not knowing he's doing the very thing feminist despises.Pretty much the same thing this dude did. If the owner of the channel felt hurt he had all the opportunity to tell me himself yet I don't think he cares much and would probably agree with me that you can use other materials.I hope that helps you a bit since it is you that do not seem to know what the term means.
+TotalMetalJacket SJW is a term I used because that's what he was trying to do. White knighting a youtube channel as if it needed rescuing, but I wasn't attacking the channel at all xD that's the irony!
+TwiztidMaGiCI knew what he meant by the acronym just not entirely why it made sense in this context. I'm not sure he understands that cosplay materials have nothing to do with SJW-ism.
+TotalMetalJacket social justice warrior, he clearly believes that he has to rescue this channel from the evil that is me because I had the audacity to write that maybe you should use a different type of material. As stated in my comment I clearly wrote that I would probably use another material, but this was lost on him...
+kingdavewoody SJW to the rescue! Here's the thing, I can make a comment regarding the use of cardboard and if there's other material that would suit better, without having to make a video myself ;)Been collecting warhammer for 18 years and creating scenery with different materials, I know there's other stuff to use and I get that carboard is just easier to get a hold on, but I'm also a perfectionist and if I were to create such a weapon I would use that material. Now go back to your troll lair ;)
+Lisa alloverBC That's a cool one! I'm trying to stick to smaller props for now but maybe someday!

+LpsTealBlueTv It's a form of American school glue. If you don't know what school glue is, it's what they use in primary schools that looks white but dries clear, and is easy to wash off :)
A corkboard for my shop has been on my to-do list for a while, but I just now finally got around to putting one up. For a full written tutorial check out my blog at ...
I would not have covered the bottom part of the door with cork board as it
will not be utilized enough to warrant it there. Painting (to my way of
thinking) is not necessary and may even be detrimental to the board's
functionality. I could, however, see maybe a drawing using Sharpies or
Magic Markers. Cork is absorbent (naturally) so something like
full-coverage paint soaks in quickly. The same properties that allow cork
to be self-healing also contributes to the absorption rate/amount. I'd just
leave it brown but maybe with a drawn-on border.
The board was done, not only for function but also for aesthetics. If I were to only cover the top half of the doors, I would not only be wasting space but also have a very unsightly project. And I fully plan to utilize the bottom half of the doors for attaching notes. I read the individual notes as they come in, but when I pin them to my board, it is more about the image they create together. Imagine when I receive a comment from somebody being negative....a single glance at my door will remind me that there are plenty of people who are enjoying what I am doing. Cork is very absorbent and did loosen up while wet with paint, but it goes right back to it's original state once it dries so there is no reason not to paint it, if one wishes.
