I've got the same antenna in a Tram version. What kind of SWR readings are
you getting on 2m, 70cm, and GMRS?

+Overlin Alaniz I'm using the Diamond version of this antenna antenna to Receive/Transmit 6 Meters, 2 Meters, 220 MHz & 440 MHz via some mobile duplexers/triplexers. The SWR on all 4 frequencies is about 1.20:1. The Jetstream should be about the same provided that it has the 6 Meter whip on top.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-IwfcQrfRY

Some parting tips, one, check out MrPete222's video on the subject. When
parting you can't baby it, feed away! DO NOT back off, that is when you
loose the blade. Get a carbide insert type parting tool, the best thing
ever, really. For aluminum just about nothing beats WD-40 as a cutting
lube, but only aluminum. Great vid, keep up the good work.

Try starting the tap in the drill chuck before you move the part after
drilling. It will go in straight every time.

One step beyond is to set up an Echolink /L simplex system using the
simplest of interfaces. You can use DTMF on the remote handheld to connect
to the test server. It will play back your transmissions and you can
record the tests on a separate computer using the same VOX setup you
suggest. Love your videos OM! Got the 817 now I just need to decide what
antenna to try first.

+joblessalex Not really. All you need to get on Echolink is a computer, rtadio and a simple sound card interface. Tons of plans ou there for those. What he has is almost a basic repeater controller And a very good one!
