renata13725 by completing the assessments one determines their top of blue
and top of yellow thereby creating the dividing lines between blue yellow
and red. one does not need to do a yellow assessment.
So here's the update to yesterday's code enforcement letter. Made a couple phone calls, and eventually reached the code enforcement officer. He had told me ...
bro, you handled it like a pro; reasonable, asking questions, not blowing
your top and ranting and storming off down the road like some other road
trippers would. cheers.
The thing is, many Cities are taking into account "Quality of Life issues".
For example, in the City I live in, there is no over night camping, so if
you are caught living in a vehicle on public or private property, it's a
misdemeanor. RV's are not allowed over night parking on any street. To load
or unload an RV requires a permit. The reason? People in surrounding Cities
were storing their RV's on City streets. Also "Yard cars" are not allowed
on lawns because they constitute an eye sore. The richer the neighborhood,
the more ordinances are created to keep value properties high. An example,
if you fail to mow your lawn, the City will come in and mow it for you,
then bill you. Average price of homes around here? $500K to $1M.
+cruyeda While we get the reasoning. We don't agree with it haha. Our situation is unique as where we are is our legal and permanent address. Down the point where this is where our vehicles including the camper are registered. This changed everything. The code office thought we were visiting or squatting if you will, vs actual residents of the house. We are, for legal purposes residents of the house. We just choose to spend most of our time in the camper ;) Having a registered to the property camper, on property isn't illegal here. Now, it's a non issue.
Really enjoy the videos! the only thing is, there isn't enough! Ive enjoyed
the content and would like to learn more about your story and how you go
about things, seems like quite a bit has changed since you first started. I
know people have busy lives and dont always have the time to pick up a
camera, which i completely understand. just know when you upload a new
video it will be watched! thanks and keep em coming!
You did the right thing and contacted the code endowment person who has a
job to do, and by doing so demonstrated you were acknowledging their
concerns and you worked it out so far, now had you ignored their concerns
and the service they perform for the community the situation would have no
doubt deteriorated.
+elfaroproductions We don't want to start anything. We'd rather follow the law vs break it. That said, if we can find a legal way to continue what we've started then we will. We aren't interested in going "back" lol
