I feel rather fond of this. Lovely music, pretty visuals, challenging but not impossible, and I really like the fact that the protagonist is an old guy because certain groups including older folks are often absent from... video game protagonism, not a word but you know what I mean. I tend to take to any game that bucks the trend and has a bit of a different protagonist.

I can see where you're coming from. The backgrounds are in some cases lacking in detail, but pretty impressive considering it was made by a single developer, including all the art and programming. I'm sure with a bigger team and a dedicated artist it could be much more detailed.

Haha, if nothing else that crybaby boss is selling point for me. Not to sound smartass, but Rodland also had crying boss, but not as hilarious as this one :) This was great, Jim. Thank you for doing these videos and my thanks to Stefan who made this wonderful game :)

Yeah I can't think of any other games that have elderly protagonists who aren't wizards or something. Even animals or inanimate objects are the player characters in games more than the elderly. It is also just very nicely made and a lot of fun.

Game looks pretty cool. I'm not really into platformers that much, but I think with the proper exposure the game will get the appreciation and support it deserves. And good to see you getting some review copies Jim.

The mechanics look pretty cool, but the pixel art could really use some restyling. It comes across as a bit bland and MSPaint-y.

it doesn't look like he slipped, it kinda looks like his shoe is like completely worn down so he couldn't get a firm hold to jump off of...
