What's the deal with rice and bread and pasta and stuff at the bottom of the Food Pyramid...they hit the saiety center for the most part...or keep you from getting hungry as much so you can have a fruit snack or two between a meal and not have any issues as long as you are also hydrating between the meal... So yah, most, even the most professional don't have an inkling or an idea on how to use the Food Pyramid and how to match that up with peoples needs and that's very difficult to personalize so yes, we do have to talk in broad terms....however, most should be able to eat a buschel of apples and still not have gained as many calories as a Snickers bar or most candies on the shelf...

Uh, for your cooking shows don't forget that citrus helps to keep your bloodpressure low...use it sparingly...and it also helps to cleanse your system...stuff like oranges and mandarines...strawberries not a citrus...but same idea...like asparagus and perhaps more hydrating and more energy filled..and less likely to cause you to gain weight... I think to have rice work on your behalf....most would sooner use regular white rice...and you need at least three servings during the week...of about 1 to 2 cups on three separate days...for best results for skin, hair and nails and CNS (or reflex and brain etc....).  But I also think, most say pick the best time of your life to consume rice ..because it can also cause for some diverticulitis...but it's great for digestion and it's an antidiarrheal and for bolus (and packing your bulus when you have diarrhea) and great over all for your digestive system...I think the best age range is limited to 10 to 20 years to avoid diabetis (I'm talking western here) and to avoid a scalded and fungal like effect in warm areas of your body like axilla and innerthigs (same with potatoes)...however eating them sparingly and consistently works best kinda like what you describe....when should you eat most?...preconception (perhaps not during pregnancy...talk to your OBGYN)...and after 10 years old...something like that..I'm repeating old information....why about 10...you will be sprouting faster than anyone around the neighborhood....but if you grow really fast you may need to slow down so you're not over stimulated...old, ponte vecchio information...haha There are rice alternatives like consuming the boiled rice instead or rice pudding dessert etc..... Like bread and pizza, rice also works to cleanse your body...reverse osmosis...hehe...which bread is best when you want to cleanse your body...regular white bread...because that's all you get...I think its considered sweatened so you are limited to several slices of bread per day or per week at least 3 times per week on your off rice or potato days...what do I know...Id have to perhaps go into special research for that or you can count the calories... Others love gravy with their rice...which is ok...if the gravy is light...or a simple broth...why...you're adding sugar to the sugar to the sugar...rice is carbs which is a fibrous sugar that is also a chain of sugars....and then you add flour to the gravy or broth to make the gravy...which is sugar to the sugar to the sugar (remember its already a branch of sugars that are connected...and then you add more flour to thicken it...sugar to the sugar to the sugar and the you might add salt...and you create quite an osmotic mess of sugars...hehe...so for something like that...some might add some citrus to break down the sugar and thus consume less sugar... There might be appropriate times for a broth...during the winter...but check you don't add too much flour or thicken to much the gravy..however, that might work for some to rehydrate...because rice is not somethign that is meant to digest....it's meant to create a bolus for cleansing...like white bread and to keep you KOSHER...or clear your estomago or stomach or Stoomuch clear and well hydrated etc...like folks with perhaps metabolic issue or those whom are anemic...might benefit most from gravies...and children during the winter...it will help hydrate them and rehydrate...not sure why athletes are not eating their gravy after a game.

Dude i had the same problem last week. I train really early in the morning and after a heavy leg press and hack squat I had a throbbing head ache and i also got dizzy and nauseous.  You don't need to go for a dr for this.  Roll out your neck and have someone message your neck for you.  What you did is you strained a small muscle in your neck, so anytime you lift heavy weight you're going to feel it.  It will go away after a week or 2 if you choose to leave it alone.  But I would advise that you roll your neck out for 5 minutes before lifting heavy. You will notice the pain go right away.  

You might want to take a trip to the chiropractor. Every time I had to physically exert myself I had that kind of pain (and it would last for awhile after my workout). When I got home from my first semester of college and started going to the chiropractor again it went away. Guess I had some shit going on with some muscles in my neck and something with the nerves along my spine

Betty for sure sings good. I was given a sound trac for "When You Go Down" by Betty Jean Robinson and my wife and I was back and forth on who was gonna sing it and while we were arguing (playfully of course) our oldest boy, who was 8 at the time, (maybe 7) learned it and sang it ever since. lol
