Opie & Anthony - Louis C.K. In Studio (01-28-2014)

+ImaKiwi butImnotafruitor...OR... he is a pompous ass who usually makes a point of trying to convince us that he is an atheist even though it's usually irrelevant and no one gives a sh--The irony is that he is as bad as a proselytizing christian.
+The DudeIts because he has a air of Im a gay guy about him. He paints his little finger nail and It weirds the staunch O and A fans out because they have trouble coming to grips with their own sexuality so they reject him.

It's hilarious, but you can really tell that Louis genuinely hates it, and
doesn't derive any satisfaction or charge from it like some other
comedians. Poor guy. I'm glad he's outgrown random comedy clubs.
+wovokanarchy I'd say comedians are superior to us just in terms of courage. I also agree with the guy who said if you heckle you're ruining the experience for everyone else who has paid to hear him speak unless you're a great comedian and can get even more laughs out of the situation but generally everyone hates hecklers as it ruins the flow of the show
+wovokanarchy I guess I think I'm superior to the average Joe as well because I want people to shut the fuck up while I'm part of the audience at ANY show I pay for. (Music concerts are different because the music generally drowns out the audience well enough, but that's beside the point)Anyway, comedians don't feel superior just because they have a mic, a stage, and want people to not ruin the flow of the show for the comedian and thus ruining the show for the audience. If anything, it's the heckler that thinks he or she is superior to everyone else by thinking that what they have to say is so important that it becomes okay to ruin every other person's experience.I say fuck hecklers. That being said, I would also go so far as to say that comedians ARE superior to hecklers.
Now you're getting it. We as polite people in society, choose to behave in such a manner where interrupting is considered rude,or a 'social faux pas'. One waits one's turn and does not in any circumstances; lose one's temper and act like a wild animal deprived of respected culture.
+wovokanarchy sheesh...are you an idiot? I'm not comparing their jobs, just the public speaking part.Someone has the mic-you shut the fuck up and let them finish,no matter who they are! That is unless you're a rude asshole with no respect for manners in civil society...or drunk.
+straddlingtime If you are conflating what the President does with what a comedian does, then I think you need to reexamine your ideas on how society operates.
+wovokanarchy I don't think it's that they think they're better as much as it is that they can't understand why anyone would try to insult a professional comedian through jokes. Like, if an "Average Joe" wants to challenge a professional comedian at something, it really shouldn't be comedy.
+wovokanarchy when they're up on that stage performing, they are. You pay to go see their show, don't interrupt it. Nobody paid money to hear some drunk idiots comment.
+wovokanarchy I think it's more that they have to posture themselves that way in a heckler situation because if the hostility spreads, it becomes a "me vs the world" experience.
Another one of you YouTube morons…let's get one thing clear, he's not trying to be George Carlin, nobody said he's George Carlin. And if he's not funny to you all, then it really doesn't mean he's not funny in general, it just means you have a preference.
I know it's all opinion, but it's hard for me to understand how anyone wouldn't find this funny. True to life insight that everyone can relate to but rarely discusses in real life, delivered naturally and yet dynamically, expanded on in an insightful intelligent way. Finding this particular bit funny is like finding the sky blue. Maybe you just need to go to the post office more.
I don't know why you decided to compare him to George Carlin, it doesn't appear that anyone mentioned him in the first page of comments. It's difficult to compare 1 comedian to another because every comedian has their own unique method when engaging with the audience. Even if they are trying emulate someone but let's make this clear Louis CK isn't emulating anyone, you can argue that he is similar to someone else, but it will only be similar and not the same. I don't see the reason for calling him an idiot or not very funny just because you don't like him.. There's a lot of comedians I don't find funny at all but it doesn't mean they suck, I just can't connect with the subject of the joke or something else.
+Ryan Hanley Because several people I know, and many people I encounter, won't stop talking about how funny he is. I looked this up to see what the fuss is about and what I got is this atrocious garbage that sadly passes for comedy. As for you accusing me of trolling. I am not trolling, I am stating my opinion. Although I'm well aware that trolling has been redefined by teh intrawebz as "having an opinion that you dislike".Actually, by disingenuously calling me out for trolling in an attempt to illicit a response from me, which sadly seems to have worked, by the true definition of the term in this context, that makes YOU the troll.I suppose I can't fault you for trying, but I can fault you for a half-assed effort.
+Johnny Spartan So why did you click on his video? Just move along. Having a different opinion doesn't make you a troll. However, purposely taking the time to come to this video and post how much you dislike him is trolling.
I love how trolling has evolved into being defined as "The sin having a different opinion." You want to know why Louis CK isn't funny? Because he doesn't make me laugh.End of Line.
+tomaszluniewski1 I know! And that's EXACTLY why he's not funny!

By "corporate" restrictions-you mean not paying for it. You're stealing.
Just because YOU paid for it doesn't mean everyone else should get it for
free. Out of respect for Louis, I will NOT watch this and go BUY it.
To those who might wish to "torrent" these shows (OR POST ON YOUTUBE):
Look, I don't really get the whole "torrent" thing. I don't know enough
about it to judge either way. But I'd just like you to consider this: I
made these files extremely easy to use against well-informed advice. I was
told that it would be easier to torrent the way I made it, but I chose to
do it this way anyway, because I want it to be easy for people to watch and
enjoy this video in any way they want without "corporate" restrictions.
Please bear in mind that I am not a company or a corporation. I'm just some
guy. I paid for the production and posting of this video with my own money.
I would like to be able to post more material to the fans in this way,
which makes it cheaper for the buyer and more pleasant for me. So, please
help me keep this being a good idea. I can't stop you from torrenting; all
I can do is politely ask you to pay your five little dollars, enjoy the
show, and let other people find it in the same way.
Sincerely,
Louis C.K. Do the right thing, YOUTUBERS...
