Thank you so much! You saved my life! I figured out I had a bad pickup coil
but still got not spark when replaced, you helped me figure out the wires
were switched.
Hey, I just bought a 1987 Yamaha Warrior and it's running like crap. after
quarter throttle it starts to sputter and backfire and it rides rich. I've
looked into it and a lot of people are saying it's something to do with the
parking break on warriors from 86-04? and they say to remove them off the
clutch peg cause they end up getting faulty, and hold the quad back in the
same way my quads doing. but on my quad it doesn't have the rear parking
break on the rear caliper nor does it have any other wires coming or going
from the caliper or from the clutch besides the lights, kill switch and
starter. Anyone help? Thanks
+KPS Karbxn Look on the Clutch Lever there will be two Wires on it. Cut them and see if it runs better. Yes the Warriors, 350 Raptors and 660 Raptors are Known for this it's a useless Feature that Yamaha uses so that way you do not accidentally ride with the Parking brakes on and burn out the brakes.
Hey man i have a 2003 warrior an it ran fone one day rode it for bout 10
min an parked it next day try to start it an it states an died then
wouldn't roll off or start an bow no spark checked stator an pickup coil
stator was .7 ohms and the pick up coil was 516 ohms do u know what else it
cold be thought it was pickup coil but the parkin brake an clutch switch
have been bypassed thanks
Hey thank you for that video it was very helpful for anyone with starting
issues. I have a 2000 350 warrior myself and I was riding it one day and
it just died on me so I geared it back down and tried to restart it. I
finally got it started and took the bike home but it wouldn't start
anymore. I have basically check everything and I have good spark but it
just want start. Do you have any suggestions.
Hey I have a 2001 warrior I did away with the parking brake wire and it
runs grate for a little wile then it starts to pop and fart and it will
come and go is there any other sensor or something I have to eliminate
because I think it's a lot Electrical problem
1. Make sure your battery is fully charged. 2. Make sure the wire you took off to Eliminate the Parking Brake are no touching ground or touching each other. In order to get rid of the Parking Brake Rev limiter those two wire need to have no contact no more.
Yamaha Warrior No spark
Yamaha Raptor 700 (NO SPARK ARRESTOR)
Yamaha Raptor 700 stock exhaust with no spark arrestor, hopefully the audio is good enough for you to hear the difference.
no spark wire a china xr70 cdi on your grizzly 600
I wanted to see if the low cost China CDI's for the Honda xr70's would work on other machines and i was thinking why not - this is a test on this Grizzly 600.
