I have learned that energy can not be created, nor can it be destroyed. It
can only be converted from one type to another. Furthermore, such a
conversion is not loss less. So, converting some kind of energy to
electrical energy, energy loss occurs. Then by using this electricity to
use for electrolysis some loss occurs again. Then using the resulting
product of this electrolysis to create heat which is again converted to
kinetic energy losses are again created. Until someone can come up with a
mathematical formula that proves that the Meyers energy balance is more
advantageous (cheaper and greener) than burning gasoline I remain a
skeptic.
+utoopuser You are not really magically converting crude oil to petrol, nether are you magically converting water to hydrogen oxygen gas, you are just "refining" it to suit your needs.
+utoopuser The key is in the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine). It's the key to the whole system. This is because you don't have to re-combine the Hydrogen and Oxygen without having to have energy for each reaction. This is because you are causing a chain reaction (the spark from the spark plug) which provides enough force to push that piston as if you had enough energy for each. This in turn rotates the alternator which keeps an amp flow which separates the water. This however breaks the law of conservation of energy so this is why people are so skeptical about it. Hydrogen fuel is a thing, the point of making it "as one goes" is because it is highly explosive. Technically it is already cleaner than most other sources of "fuel". Using Solar panels (five 250 watt Solarpanels can push 10amps~ for around 10hrs a day in sunny places like CA) to store hydrogen gas (rather than charging batteries then throwing toxic discharged batteries away) then spend in ICEngines is not only cheaper, but VERY green. Dare I say this is becoming a thing but I can see why many would want to disprove it, because buying a HHOgenerator/engine/exhaust and never have to buy fuel or electrical energy would not help the economy.
Why would Stan Meyer use distilled water in the first place ?? Chemistry
tells u have 2 moles of H2 and 1 mole of O2 resulting from a simple redox
of 2 molecules of H2O, hence considering the water density as 1Kg/Liter, 1
Liter of H2O will give u 1000gx2x22.4Liter/(2x18g) =1244.44Liter of H2
for every Liter of Water H2O. the redox tells u need 4 moles of
electrons to have 2 moles of H2 (22.4L), u have 4x6.02x10(23) electrons(
1.6x10(-19) c ), the current which is proportional to the charge is only
dependant on time i= Q/t the electrodes u need to use must be in graphite
and the doability needs to be proven in terms of car engine combustion
using H2. Good luck chuck ! I still don't see the point of using distilled
water here !????
+smail madani I remember that Stan Meyer actually said in one of his interviews that any kind of water would work in his system, anything from tap water, water from a stream or even sea water!
Good work and everythig, but why would anyone want to turn all the water in
the world into gas? Converting a finite, and absolutely necessary, liquid
resource into a gaseous state is as foolish as burning gasoline. Electric
vehicles and Solar power are the real solutions in the long run...
+Dan O'Brien I think you are vastly underestimating the volume of water on the planet. Second this gas would then be burned, combining back into water. Also water is not a finite resource and is quite plentiful in our solar system and presumably the entire universe.
