+1221Ralph The majority of people who don't have their front license plates have stacks of tickets that they keep getting for refusing to put the plate on their cars. They get tickets too, but they just pay them off and don't abide.
+ReZ® they actually use filtered water from the hose, there are a sort of "buckets" with salt that you put on your piping to filter all your water, i'm going to put that system in my detailing store soon.. it's cheap, it's called a polyphosphate water filter, look it up..
+Chemical Guys Surely using that 'filtered water' is completely pointless when you're using water straight from the hose to fill your buckets? So you make a point of diluting with filtered water but then use unfiltered water over the top of it? Makes no sense.
+Ben Salmon Yes! While you can use normal tap water when diluting any detailing chemicals, it's best to use filtered or DI water to avoid cross-contamination or unpredictable reactions with hard water minerals typically found in civic water sources. Check out this link for more info on diluting detailing chemicals! //www.chemicalguys.com/How_To_Dilute_Car_Wash_Chemicals_s/373.htm

Salt Water Etch
This a a Salt water etching tank that I'm using to etch a steel box made from 3/16" plate. I used Rubber cement to protect the areas I didn't want to erode away.
this is cool, do you think I could etch my name onto a knife blade by
coating the blade with rubber cement, then scratching away my name in the
cement and using the blade as a cthode in the same manner as you did?
