Not a huge difference between the ramdisk and the SSD (certainly not enough to justify the cost), especially when you consider the gains you get when a ...
I like this video, I use to mess around with a ram drive, sadly I have only
8GB of ram... so not many games I can try out, tho from what I tried i t
was fast as heck, now I just need to put money away to get a better
computer + more ram so I can finally enjoy top of the line gaming, I have
an ok system tho no thing that can max out games I play, well new games. D:
Also I agree with Kidvid, at the very end when you have the bonus footage,
it does seem anyone with a ramdisk would have tons of ample loading time,
super fast, smooth and out in the action a lot sooner, this could explain
why most people you might pvp against can win in games is they load faster
or run smoother then you might.
+Zane Lear I use Softperfect Ramdisc to manage my ramdisc now, it auto saves every xx minutes, and loads while booting into windows. Just copy the files I want on the ramdisc (NAME/AppData/Local/Google in the case of chrome), and use a link junction via "Link Shell Extension". You have to do it this way with Chrome as there is not an option or start up parameter to place the cache elsewhere. The difference is like night and day even compared to a fast SSD.
Yeah, a while ago I was going to try to setup my browser to if at possible run faster, tho I am not sure if I ever managed to set it up right, would be nice to see a test like that, to see if it loads browser games and sites faster, also if it does the same for YT videos.
I pretty much only use it for browser cache and indexing. You could probably get away with putting your chrome cache on it. In my case that is usually 500-600MB.1.5GB ram disc should be plenty

+lovingQ718 not necessarily. it has played out as it does in this game before in the comics with venom easily overpowering carnage. carnage is faster and has different abilities but venom is stronger and has a form of spider sense taken from peter.
+Frida Guaman No, Carnage is only Faster with different abilities, but venom is stronger and has a form of spider sense taken from peter. it has played out as it does in this game before in the comics with venom easily overpowering carnage.
+debbie hrahsel No, Carnage is only Faster with different abilities, but venom is stronger and has a form of spider sense taken from peter. it has played out as it does in this game before in the comics with venom easily overpowering carnage.
