a Futureproof computer is considered a computer that can last two years and be compatible of another upgrade to last another 2. so... stuck up bitch... These fools forgot Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HDD which is faster than Seagate's or Western Digital's variants... And did these assholes even think about not everyone is ready to pay that ridiculous price for 80 gig SSD... ffs with that money you nearly get i7 CPU...

@Dex1n 2:52-3:03 -- The cost issue *was* addressed. The WD velociraptor was just one possible alternative to keep price down, capacity up and speed decent. Samsung SpinPoints would be another.

Not really. People recommend installing your games on a HDD because it saves writes on your SSD. You will probably upgrade your SSD way before it runs out of writes.

+GreyFace That was almost a year ago; these products have already been discontinued. Never the less; the logic is still there. You can find Crucial MX100 256GB for $105 USD from bhphotovideo. On the same site; you can find Samsung 850 EVO 250GB for $124 USD. $19 more, 6 Gigabytes less, 200MB/s write speed more.
