In the UK we don't get lists for any school, at least not in my school x

Guys, I find it so weird how college, and school in general works in the U.S... Cause like, in my country, we go through high school actually knowing what we wanna major in college, and in our last year of high school we take a really hard test and if we pass the test we can get into college, but already studying our major in freshman year! Even like medical and law school are like that. And, we don't get dorms in our colleges, most people still lives with their parents or buy an apartment as soon as you get into the school you wanted. And we don't ever use binders, mostly notebooks and it's a very different kind of notebook.. Idk, I find I kind of funny hahah sorry for my English. And by the way, I'm from Brazil!
