+Jordan Nevin Hey Jordan - it's a tripod at its full height, thought I suppose a shot like the one 4.36 (no camera moves or motion within the frame) could be achieved by going handheld and then using a still in post. We had to use the first method because of the preceding shots with movement.
"Significant similarities' is not a correct term to use explaining this clip. I didn't watch the whole thing, after 50 seconds I skipped through. I have to admit I was exited when I saw the title and were expecting something completely different then to what you created. If what you say is correct, then I think you should change the title.Have a good day.
Hi Finn,This film was made as part of an academic project at university. The project aims to pastiche the films of Wes Anderson, an auteur. It assumes a critical position on the auteur theory, asking questions about creativity and authorship in filmmaking, including what defines an auteur and to what extent his style can be replicated. Therefore, it is not surprising that there are significant similarities - character types, narrative events, visual style and other motifs - as this is exactly what we were working towards. When publishing the video to YouTube, we were looking for a way to summarise what the film is. I agree that 'inspired' doesn't capture the whole picture, but goes some way to doing so. We've had many new viewers find the film through YouTube who have not been disappointed. Thanks for watching.

Independent filmmaking at it's best haha! Might use this sometime. Check out some stuff from my channel too, hopefully there will be something you like! Great job once again. Best Regards.
I really liked it : ) ! The breakup was really good! Emotional,
comical and sorta awkward at the same time. Everything was incredibly Wes
Anderson...-esque(?). How did you guys pull off those sideway travellings??
Again, great job! Best Regards!
