I tried doing it as a granny square once but it didn't quite work. Cornering the cheekbones was the problem area. Sorry.

hello! supppeerrrr excited about this tutorial, thank you so much for your
time! I just wanted to know how much yarn you used? one skein, two?
greetings from NC!
+Linda Warren Here it is. I did not write it however it is from kungen och majkis //www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/skull-shawl-doskallesjal I am not sure how the translation is hence why i made video. hehehee
Thanks so much for this video. I'm a knitter, but just learning
crochet...which I find much harder. This was the first pattern I looked at
and almost lost my mind! But you make this look so easy! However, I'm
confused about one of your sts. On Row 6, when you say to put 4 SC around
middle line it looks like you're actually doing 4 HDC, because you do a YO
and then pull through all 3 loops on your hook. And again, in Row 8 your SC
looks like you're doing HDC. I plan to try it the way you're doing it &
just disregard any discrepancy in stitch names---but as a newbie I was just
confused. Can you explain why you say do SC, but appear to be doing HDC?
Thanks again!!
+MadAlice Me I do do a single crochet but sometimes i do things backwards on accident. You can use a normal single crochet and will look great. It "looks" like a hdc cause i yarn over first and pull through both instead of going in loop then pulling through. lol crochet dislexia haha
+Hrafn Nordhri Found your answer on the other video where you said you used 1 standard ball of Super Saver. Thanks for the videos would be great to see more from you.
Awe thank you! I appreciate the kind words. Tho this was a Russian pattern by Virtokig who graciously let me translate and video. //kungenomajkis.blogspot.com/201 hehehehe
I appreciate your answer. I am very impressed with your videos and your work. When I grow up .... maybe I can be half as talented ... Mind you, I am almost 57, so it may take a while :)
