*Is drastically increasing fan girl of Deadpool and other Marvel
characters!!! :D* I crochet too and I was just curious on the weight of the
yarn you use and the hook size please. :) This plush is very well made and
I don't plan to steal it (though there's no pattern anyway and I don't
blame you for uniqueness) I was just curious of the yarn weight and hook
size since I want to learn more efficient materials to use when creating
plushes. :) Your's turned out s well, I needed to know. XD
You have two followers who I know of and they are both called Kyle, lol.

Vlog #15- Stuffed Deadpool and a Single Granny Square
I love crocheting. especially while i'm in a nice thin blanket watching cool movies or something. Makes me wish I had Netflix. Thanks for watching!!! New Blog- ...
thanks for showing me the granny square you will be using, I think ill
probably look for a tutorial on YouTube. As I really want to make a start.
Also will you be using double knit or worsted yarn to make yours?
It's a piranha plant! The whole thing is crocheted, and supported with some PVC mesh. The end result is surprisingly heavy. I didn't really document it very well, ...
@musicalluma There are a few ways you can approach the mouth. What I did is
a little difficult to explain, but you can google a blogspot site by
wolfdreamer. She has a lot of crochet patterns including a Chain-Chomp,
which you can alter to make into a piranha plant head. I think the way she
did it would probably be easier for a smaller piranha plant. Also make sure
your stem can support the head's weight. I had a fair bit of trouble with
this. I think it'd probably be easier if it pointed up.
@JohnnyElsewhereTV My humanoid patterns are derived from the shape of the
dolls made by GoldenJellyBean on YouTube. My other ones are just done
through experimentation, and quite a few scrapped parts. I'd say the first
step in making a pattern from scratch is the same as drawing something -
break it down into simple shapes. Also, while you're starting out, do a lot
of experimenting to see what shapes you can make and how to do them.
@rygy82 I started knitting in Jan 2011, and crocheting in Feb 2011, so when
I finished this, I had about 4-5 months experience. It's made nearly
entirely of just single crochet stitches, so really you just need to get a
feel for how to shape things. I think a background in art or 3D modelling
really helps in assessing how to break down a desired model into crochet
parts.
You not only replicate what most nerds wish they could make with yarn you
also make it functional! I'm a fan of your patterns! I am currently making
your tardis pattern (thanks a million for making it free for all) and it's
coming out great! Please come back to make more videos or at least check in
with us!
@JohnnyElsewhereTV Sorry, I didn't really document this very well as I was
making it (partly because I knew I wouldn't be making another, and partly
because this is one piece I wanted to keep solely my own). So no pattern =(
I'll be making other things with patterns in the future, though.
@MagicMerlion I see. But, I guess you had to alter a pattern, then? I think
that's what most peope do now a days, anyway. I'm doing a lot of research
on plush making, so any information you can provide would be a great help.
Thanks, though! :)
OMG that's awesome, i crochet, but nowhere as good that it's amazing!!!!! I
'm thinking on making a smaller version for pencils and stuff and i don't
know how to make the mouth, any tips???? P.S. please make a pattern!
This is pure genius :] This is unique, useful, and absolutely adorable. If
you ever decide to make a pattern to sell or give for free that would be
lovely :3 I applaud you good sir and keep up the creative work :)
Omg! That is AWESOME!! Love it! Crazy! not only the plant but the whole
idea! Really creative! Love it. I know that had a lot of time ...so thanks
for sharing and good job! Love it!!
I'm sorry that you cant follow what I am doing, maybe you need to slow the video down by the YouTube settings. But there is no reason to be rude about it.

I was just Google searching for a free pattern for the Superman logo when I
came across your videos and then looked at the site. I have yet to find a
pattern for the superman logo (my nephew passed away this last Saturday, he
would have been 2 on 4/16, and his nickname was Superman. I'm looking to
make something in memory of him for his Celebrating of Life coming up next
week). Just wanted to say you've gained a new fan. I love the patterns and
I'm a newbie so the layman's terms and easy to follow videos are fantastic.
I'll be joining up to help some causes in my nephews memory as well. (He
passed from Pulmonary Vein Stenosis he developed after 2 open heart
surgeries he had before he was 1. So anything heart/lung/kid related, I'm
in! ) Thank you.
