+blan brad One way (but, not the only way!) would be to mark the beginning of the round and the 25th stitch. Then: k3, m1, k2, m1 10 times, k2, slip marker, k1, m1, k2, m1 11 times, k2.k = knitm1 = make 1 by lifting the running thread between stitches with the left needle tip from back to front and then knitting that picked up thread normally. Marking the first and 25th stitches establishes the "side seams", even though you're working in the round and there aren't any seams.
