The principle of using shading and highlighting is still the same but just use a darker palette; Ben Nye have makeup for a large range of ethnicities. You might find the Ben Nye Brown Contour wheel useful or the Mojave version depending on the exact skin tone of your talent. Have a browse at backstageshop.co.uk under Ben Nye and then neutralizers and concealors and see which colours are suitable. Le us know how you get on!

I always approach my outfits by thinking to myself." are young girls wearing this"...if they are stay away...I think elegant is always the way...classic always make a woman look better...accessories always add that updated ( young) feel to an outfit...how formal are you going with the wedding, is there a color theme, you are still only 44 ...stay away from chiffon (aging)..my friends daughter just got married, she wore a beautiful ivory gown that was fitted on top and flowed on the bottom..

Hi Tammy, I luv that magazine. Is it by subscription only? I have never heard of it or seen it in stores. I am getting feathering around the lips and no matter whether I use liner or not, it still does it. Waaa! I do use glitter eyeshadow for special occasions, i.e., new year's eve, but only on the lid and nowhere else on my face. I can get away with that since it's just for fun, but I don't like to use it on a daily basis. It looks gorgeous on young girls tho. Love ur tips! xoxo :) Carla

I am needing a lot more moisture now that my skin is aging. I had a lot of acne in my teens and 20's. I am very lucky that I don't have a lot of acne scars. I do have some. So I have gone from normal to oily when I was younger to normal to dry as I am older. It is so much fun to watch and listen to you tips. I am embracing my age. It is about time that we learn to age with grace. You do it so beautifully. I like how you give us skin care tip to help us in aging gracefully. Thanks.

Your so damn cute..I feel like Im listening to my sister telling me something mom never taught ''us...ya know? My entire family died last year. Dad in Jan. Mom in May. my brother in Nov. All heart problems. Im left behind with a perfect heart...though absolutely shattered. (Ive had it checked and REchecked) the stress of the last yr has left my skin an absolute MESS. Im became a recluse. Literally. I've turned to/am learning EVERYTHING about my oils that I can/could ever know.

I just love to hear you talk. I think you look great in your videos. I've read a lot about what other makeup artists and 'they' say for older/mature women do's and don'ts to which I disagree. However, when it comes to blue eyeshadow(I have blue eyes) I've never liked blue eyeshadow. But after a lot of practice I've found that using other colors of eyeshadow with the blue shades can look very nice instead of 'bold'. I don't like limits, I like adjustments as I age, lol

Hi Tammy! I,like you love skin care and products! I was wondering how to use all the products I have at present so I don't waste them.How do you use your many products? Do you use only one type of eye cream a day or do u use one for morning & a different one for night? Same with face & neck creams... and do you layer them or alternate them? @GINALINDA35 there are many, but since I do not have oily skin it would be hard for me to give you my honest opinion on one never using it.......my suggestion would be to ask for a few samples from lines you are most interested in and try them before you buy! I am half way in between. My son is getting married this weekend and I am going crazy with what I should wear, what kind of make up to wear. I'm 44. I don't want to look too young, like I think I'm 20, but if you google mother of the bride/groom,you get pics of a woman in her 60's with thining hair....HELP! Just want to look classy.

@silkbuttons Thanks so much...No I have not done a video on my hair color...but so many ask about it ...maybe it is something I should consider...Thanks again!! I do use goldwell products 3/4 8N-1/4 8SB....my hair is 85% white and gray ( It is treated as if it is pure white hair) I have no highlights at all...I hope this helps..

Just a suggestion about your lipstick bleeding into the fine lines and wrinkles-- don't wax under your lower lip, leave some of the peach fuzz (if it's light-colored of course). Waxing makes the surface too smooth, so having the finer hairs there provide a sort of barrier.

+FanzonedBy5sos Oh yeah? How many years? 2? 3? Please, just because it hasn't happened in a few years doesn't mean it's not going to have drastic affects later on. Your skin is an organ. You can't just put makeup on it whenever is flakes or blemishes. This is why I'm losing faith in this generation. They think makeup doesn't mean anything. They think everything doesn't mean anything (of course this is just a generalisation but you get my point).
