Pedestrian Detection NOT STANDARD On Volvo Self Driving Cars. WTF?
How can this be an additional option that they make you pay extra for? How was "not hitting people" not the first component built into self driving cars?

The company that once made "safety" it's key selling point, now designs an
SDV with a "from the factor" disregard for human life.
How is it that no one at Volvo realized this would open the company up to
HUGE lawsuits?????
In a case involving injury or death, it could easily be argued
that a distracted/intoxicated operator is better than one of these
non-option equipped models; at least with an alcoholic or text-addict
driver there is a potential for detection & avoidance.
The best advice is to spend your money at a good driving school instead of
squandering your money on options that drive the car for you when you don't
know how.
